Hi Shamrocks! I'm 5dp5dt now. I've had some dull cramps on and off the last few days. Also, I've been feeling kinda queasy on and off too. I'm hoping these are good signs and not just PIO symptoms. My beta is on Friday but DH agree to testing Thursday night after the last PIO shot prior to beta. I hope I can make it until then. I'm cautiously optimistic right now.
QOTD: I don't think I've ever really been involved in any April Fool's Day shannigans or none that were good enough to be memorable now.
Good morning ladies! Thanks for the check in. Wishing lots of hugs to anyone who needs them, good wishes for those in the 2ww and stimming or priming & huge congrats to all the BFPs!
As for me... Ugh. Just ugh. Line was either fainter or didn't change this morning. Also been spotting pinkish red a bit. I have some sensations that I don't know if they're gas, bloating, or cramping. This is very, very likely to be the first and hopefully only March angel on our list. And my 7th early loss now.
I just got my blood drawn. Thinking it's going to show a beta under 25 and don't know what they're going to tell me. At 14dp5dt I can't imagine it's going to be good. I don't know if they'll have me do another draw Wed or what. But I should get the results later today.
And I guess I'd move over to the April check in now?
Thanks so much for all your well wishes and hopes for me yesterday. I hate, hate, hate that I've been such an AW. And I hate even more than anyone goes through these IF struggles. It's all just so unfair and so, so difficult.
CallaLily30- FX for good news for you on Friday!!!
I'm awaiting a second beta test on Thursday. Nervous, but I'm still feeling pregnancy symptoms. Hoping this is our baby. I went to acupuncture Sunday and I felt so much more calm and relaxed afterwards.
QOTD: When I used to work in an office, we'd always play pranks with each other. Now that I work from home (and so does my DH), I plan on trying to get him tomorrow! :-)
IVF #1 Oct 2013- cancelled IVF #2 Mar 2014- success.... baby girl born 11/28/14 FET #1 Mar 2016- baby boy due 12/16/16
I had a SET on Saturday and my doctor was thrilled with the embryo quality. She said it was graded an 8AA, which is considered perfect for them. They were also able to freeze 3 more! I have been trying to find out more about the grading and I can't find much for a grading of 8. I know clinics grade differently, but I'm the type that likes to read up on things. I've been on PIO for 6 days and I'm already sick of it. I know it will all be worth it if it works though.
QOTD: I have done this prank a couple times and it always makes me laugh... I put an elastic band around the trigger on the water sprayer on the sink. The first person to turn on the sink gets sprayed. It's always funny because it takes a few seconds for them to realize what is happening and actually turn the water off.
SIGGY WARINING

Beta #2 at 21dp3dt came back at 11,561, so we have our first ultrasound scheduled this Thursday. I'm cautiously optimistic and really can't believe I'm at this point.
Congrats to the other BFP's, hugs to those that need it and a HUGE good luck for those in the 2ww!
QOTD: I've never been into April Fool's day so I won't be doing anything and I'm hoping that no one will fool me
FET#2 August: delayed due to thin lining (6.3). Took a few months off to try and thicken the lining with lots of estrodial. FET#2.2 December: Cancelled due to thin lining (4.8). Two frosties left.
*New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.
IVF #2: ER 3/4/14 ET 3/7/14, transferred 3, 3 day 9 cell perfect embryos. No frosties.
Beta #1 (14dp3dt) 504
Beta #2 (21dp3dt) 11,561
First ultrasound on 4/3/14 showed 3 sacs: one empty and two with beating hearts!! At 7w2d, found out that one baby did not have a heartbeat anymore. Praying that baby B makes it. Baby B is a girl!
Im just hanging out in the 2ww. I had a crazy girl moment and decided to POAS on Friday. I think it was good to get it out of my system because Im quite calm now. I have been trying stay optimistic this entire process, but I did get a case of the worries last night. That cloud of doubt that makes you think it your cycle didnt work, has me a little freaked out. I was going to test this morning but decided against it. Im going to (try to) wait until the end of the week.
QOTD: I havent done April Fools in a long time. But my friend did get me real qood last year, and pretended she had went and got eloped. She had me going for real. It was a big deal because we are very close and if it had been true I would have lost my mind.
@CallaLily30 Same here... just a few dull cramps, and I've been getting this late evening nausea. But thats about it. I was going to test today but totally punked out.
@Sandollar1010 Im so tired of the butt shots lol. Good luck to you.

Loss and IF veteran. Current mom of DS 5.5, DD 2, and sometimes DH 40. Due June 2021 with TWINS
@jaztaz1 - Too funny! I tested on Saturday and Sunday too knowing it would be negative because it's too early. I think it helped keep my crazy down too. I'm going to try to hold out until Thursday night now.
I am in shock right now- At our ER we had 21 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, and 15 fertilized with ICSI.
As of today (day 5) we had 4 awesome looking blasts, and a few more that are almost there. We transferred 1 blast, and the other 3 will be frozen. The other embryos are early blasts and will hopefully continue for another day- Our embryologist met with us and said there are 2/3 more that she hopes will make it to blast tomorrow and be suitable for freezing.
Compared to our last cycle, where we only had a single 4-celled embryo to transfer on day 2 this is just incredible and unexpected! Especially after starting out with an AFC of 6, I am just blown away by the difference in this cycle.
Beta is the 9th, so the waiting begins.

Can someone please explain to me how it is the end of March already?? I guess time flies when you are having fun... Or hopping from Dr appointment to Dr appointment, procedure to procedure, injection time to injection time... Hopefully the next week or so will continue moving just as quickly! I am 5dp5dt today and already a ball of nerves just waiting for time to pass. Hate the 2WW so much at the best of times, but with the first IVF, it seems just that much more unpleasant after all the stages to get this far and now very little to do but wait. I am mostly recovered from my brush with OHSS, which is a relief. I feel almost normal again except for being so darned tired all the time still. Just need to recover my stamina, I guess. My arms are so tired that it feels like a real chore just to type this message, actually. Maybe part of it is just the progesterone, too. Who knows... Just another week or so to go. Congrats to the BFPs, hugs to the BFNs and good luck to all those in the 2WW!

11dp3dt today. HPT was stark white this morning. Beta isn't until Thursday. But, even with my absurdly low betas on IVF #3, I had a positive HPT at this point. I will test again in the morning. But, I think I am calling this cycle a failure.
QOTD: I am not begin on pranks. So, I don't do anything on April Fool's Day. But, since it is my birthday, I get my fair share of pranks played on me. Nothing too funny, though.
I will say, that my parents always consider my birth a bit of a practical joke on them. I was born six weeks early on April 1. My mother was mad at me. I ruined all her plans that week! Also, my mom's cousin had a baby on April 1 the year before I was born and my mom went to bed on April 31 and told my dad, at least I'm not going to have an April Fool's baby! To top that, my paternal grandmother wouldn't believe my parents that I was born!

I'm loving all the BFPs!!
@STL34 fx'ed things turn around for you. Either way I hope you can enjoy your bday=)
AFM tomorrow is my day 3 transfer. They retrieved 25 eggs, all mature, and 21 of them fertilized without ICSI so we're pretty happy with that. Last time they retrieved 18 and 15 fertilized so we went for a 5 day transfer and only 1 had made it that far. So we are being cautious with a 3 day but we'll transfer 2.
QOTD I don't really do any prankster activity on April Fools.
Today was my official beta day (even though I have been cheating and testing early) and it is officially official- I am KTFU with a beta of 197 at 11dp5dt!! I am silly excited but now worried about doubling, cause, I mean, I need to worry about something, right? I am taking one day at a time and always reminding myself "Today I am pregnant and I love my baby". Next beta is Wednesday.
Congrats to all the BFP, GL to those who are PUPO and lot of hugs to those who need them
As for me... It's back to the drawing board for us. Ectopic Pregnancy...my hcg levels were crappy since day one and my ultrasounds were turning up zip, so it's not really a surprise. Still sucks. I also switched RE's, but within the same practice. Next FET will be in the summer.

Hi Shammies - I have my BETA on Wednesday. Negative HPT all along. Lots of spotting since Saturday. Not looking good but we shall see how it plays out. Statistically speaking - since we have had so many BFPs - we need some BFNs - so I am thinking that my little "fluke ninja" is volunteering for a BFN. I have no symptoms and for once, since October, my boobs are the smallest part of my body. I'll keep you posted.
Slapping my inner Eyeore but being realistic.
Congrats to all those BFPs and yet again- hoping all of the BFNs are finding peace with this crazy train that we are on.

QOTD: I have done this prank a couple times and it always makes me laugh... I put an elastic band around the trigger on the water sprayer on the sink. The first person to turn on the sink gets sprayed. It's always funny because it takes a few seconds for them to realize what is happening and actually turn the water off.

All Welcome!
TTC since 2008
