Baby stuff - WWJ12D?

So apparently in my sleep-deprived state a year and a half ago, I stored DS's bassinet in the garage without thinking about the linens. It was in pieces, in two heavy duty garbage bags (one over each end, overlapping each other), and the sheets were in a ziploc bag.

The other linens for the bassinet, like the bedskirt and the part that goes over the side into the bassinet part, were still attached. They aren't machine washable. I wiped every surface with a damp cloth per the instructions, and they look fine. But this thing has been chilling in the garage for over 18 months with both of our cars, and I'm wondering if I should just order new linens. WWJ12D?

  • I forget where you live. Can you air them out for a few days in the sun?
I live in CA so I can totally do this!

  • I would just air them out for a few weeks. They were wrapped up so most dirt would not get on them. The only thing I would think you need to worry about is smell. Air them out for a week or two and I would think they would be fine.

airing out should be fine if you don't see anything like mild on them.
