oh my... I missed you so much!

I'm back from Italy and I have to admit that I talked quite a lot about "my J13 friends" while I was offline... I guess now my mom wants to open an account and lurk around :P

It was a great trip and Gerardo was an angel! It's crazy how a trip can stimulate LO... when I left he was not very mobile and eating mostly pureed food, during the trip he started kind of crawling and he wanted us to help him walk around (not so much fun for our backs), I even had to buy a pair of real shoes for him because I think it's gross to let him go around churches, museums and pretty much everywhere only with his socks considering the amount of people around. Then as we started eating at the same time, he realized that we didn't have pureed food ourselves but real food :-O so he pretty much refused to eat anything that was not taken out of our plates. So yes, he had a lot of pizza, pasta and some other Italian delicacies including cheese, pork chops and roast beef! The only thing I refused to give was wine

Oh, and he also started saying "mama" but he did it only during 2 days and then stopped, he was saying it every time I would not respond to his calls, he would get desperate and scream "mama"... he did it several times and I even recorded it. He also responds now to several words like come, here, more?, do you want?, no, look. He didn't do it before our trip.

Anyway, I am happy to be back online. Any news/gossip/crazy threads?!

@citrusfamily he didn't sleep on the outbound flight, he instead found it was the right time and place to learn a new way of screaming (the happy kind of screaming) which I found so cute... I wonder if the other passengers found him cute too... but as @casey78 mentioned before, I won't be seeing them again... I apologized for the noise anyways...

Here is a collage of our last day in Italy... LO was on the stroller on those pics but in reality he was up and about almost all the time, in the right center picture he is on the baby bjorn and we are at the Piazza dei Miracoli (where the Pisa tower is) by night. He was laughing out loud but I don't know why, it was past his bedtime but we decided to go and see the tower once more, I was ready to deal with hell that night but I guess he loved Italy as much as we did... after all he is half-Italian lol
