We were finally At one wake up a night and then he was sick for a week. While sick he wasn't eating solids really and doc said give him milk when he asks for it. So he was getting up 4 x a night between being sick and hungry. Now it's a bad habit again. I'm exhausted and feel like I'll never sleep again too.

Edit to say: I have not slept through the night since about the 8 month of my pregnancy.

  • Going by the past month, I'm never going to sleep again. She slept better her first month home than she does now.

LO sleeps through the night almost always.  Occasionally when he is teething, he will start whining for a minute or two overnight, but usually we pop in the pacifier and he goes right back to sleep.  I can only think of one time in the past month when it took more than that.
  • She STTN which is great for my husband but i work 3rd shift so I sleep when she naps.

Define STTN. My LO goes down about 7 and wakes up about 4 and then back down until I wake her to leave for daycare. I marked one wake up, but a 9 hour stretch is pretty damn good.
  • I put SS. Grayson sleeps through the night when he finally goes to sleep (which has been 11 pm the last couple of weeks ugh!) but he does start to get restless between 4-5 am. He'll start to move around but is asleep the entire time. Since we've been co sleeping I'll just cuddle up with him when he starts getting restless and that usually calms him down. So he is sleeping through the night but I am not lol

  • We're cosleeping too. She usually wakes up once on a good night, or 2-3 times to eat
  • We had gotten down to 2-3 times a night, but last night everything went to hell in a handbasket.  So I voted that I'll never sleep again.

If I'm really lucky I get one 4-5 hour stretch out of LO in a night.  I call those nights winners.

  • He's all over the damn place.  Last night he woke up at 11:30 (does that count since we were asleep?) but then didn't wake up again.  The night before that he woke up at 11:30 and 3:30.  He flips flops all over.

  • Depends on the night. Some nights it's once. Some nights it could be 3 or 4.
  • Despite trying to have her on a consistent schedule, her daycare days and weekend days are different and unpredictable sometimes. This impacts her sleep. Usually she wakes twice, but today she hardly napped at daycare, so I think she will be up more than usual tonight. Glad I'm not the only one whose LO doesn't STTN!

  • It's nice to know many of us are in the same boat. I wish you all fantastic sleep :)
