Suggestions for a little getaway?

DH and I opted not to get gifts for each other this year in lieu of a "babymoon" of sorts - something local and probably just a weekend.  Any suggestions for something nearby?  I'd say our north-to-south parameters would be Vancouver to Portland, but anything closer would be great too.

    We went down to OR for the anniversary this year and stayed at Edgefields in Troutsdale. We had a really good time.?

    If you end up going to Chrysalis my cousin works in the spa and I got *THE BEST* massage during my pregnancy. Get one! You will LOOOOOOOVE it.

    Leavenworth, LaConnor, Downtown Seattle, Portland, Victoria BC, Salish Lodge....these are a few things I can think of that sound fun for a weekend babymoon!  Have fun!  (P.S. I would definitely schedule a pregnancy massage while you are away - its wonderful!!)

    We have stayed at the Chrysalis, and got massages, it was great.  My parents got us a gc to the Wild Iris in La Conner for Christmas, it sounds like a great place, and not far.  We have also looked into Sun Mountain Lodge, depending on what time of year you are thinking.

    The Chrysalis is beautiful and the area around it (Fairhaven area of Bellingham) is beautiful. La Conner is also a fun town, great for walking around and browsing in the shops. You could also do one of the islands...Port Townsend, Sequim/Port Angeles area, Orcas, Lopez or San Juan Island...

     You're due just a week before me, a getaway sounds awesome!

    Friday Harbor House in the San Juans.  We went when I was about 30 weeks in October for DH's birthday.
