Cloth Diapering

Stains

This one dang Freetime has the NASTIEST poo stain. Blah blah blah, stain doesn't mean dirty, I know. But it's been sunned 5 times, doesn't even touch the stain. It's been through 2 bleach washes bc we were worried about yeast, nothing. It doesn't stink so I guess it's clean, but it looks so gross. Anything else I can do to get the stain out?
Please don't comment if you're going to be rude. I don't expect snark on a cloth diaper board. That's what makes people quit CDing. ;)

  • I actually did use lemon juice in the sun before. It helped a little. It didn't get it all though.

    I'd settle for same fading.

  • If the lemon trick doesn't get it, I would try what PP said and rub some diluted bleach directly on it.The amount of bleach that is in a diaper cycle is usually so diluted, it has never touched any of the stains on my diapers.

None of them. Cloth diapering is gross!

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
    It all revolves around you.
  • Depending how desperate you are you could try White Brite.  I would only use it to spot treat like you would use Dawn though.  I specifically says it works better than bleach on iron fortified baby food stains. It really does brighten whites and remove certain stains better than bleach.  You can also use it on color safe clothes.  I use it on my mechanic husbands grease stained jeans and uniforms and it helps a lot.  I use it on my flour sack towels that I use for mopping up everything in the kitchen.  I've even used it on certain baby clothes that I can't get stains out of.

  • I didn't feel like googling. I thought it made more sense to type more words on my hard to type on phone, then ask you to do the work for me, and then respond on your hard to type phone. As per @mandmeesh. Duh.
