My 18 month old says OWIE all the time all of a sudden. I'm sure it is impart a new fun word for him, but I am concerned a bit. About a week ago he had a 48 to 72 hr stretch of 100.5 to 103 fever. It always went down with ibuprofen and he is fine now other than being crabby, not eating as much, biting a lot (which he normally doesn't do) and sleeping a lot. I notice him saying owie at his diaper changes, but everything on the exterior looks good. Anyone else have a similar issue/situation. Am I worrying about nothing?
I thought initially the fever was from teething, but he has all but 2 year molars....is it early still for those? He also developed a few rashes around the same time that I think now was just a coincidence. So much to think about!?
