Sex after c-sec! (Possibly a TMI question)

Ok I know we had a thread on sex after delivery but I did not see anything specific on sex after a c-sec so wanted to ask you ladies.
My H and I finally DTD but OMG it hurt like hell. It was this weird sore, tugging pulling pain. It hurt horribly when he hit my cervix (I think). I got the okay from my OB that everything looked good down there and we had plenty of lube! It actually hurt inside like the whole thing was sore. I realize sex may not be fantastic after delivery but this was really torcher. I'm really upset as I'm freaking out going at it again and of course DH is not daring another go either after how I reacted to the pain.
I did suffer from a UTI recently but that's all cleared up so should not ideally hurt. I was expecting uncomfortable but not painful like this. I almost feel like going back to the dr it hurt so bad. So all you c-sec ladies, were you in a similar boat after your c-secs or am I the odd one out?

We DTD 3 weeks post - bleeding stopped & i'd been feeling wonderful since a week after. No pain doing anything.
DTD didnt hurt-only when, as pp said he would hit my cervix. Um ouch. And peeing afterwards hurt.
Then the fact that ever since the first time we did, its been the effin sahara down there -_-
Sorry youre in so much pain from it. Hope it gets better soon!!
If/when I do, I also need to manage to find time to shower....and chances of scoring shower time and sex time? ....I don't think those odds are in my favour anytime soon...
(Yes we could combine the two - but we weren't coordinated well enough for this before now...and first time pp and post c-section, not sure if it will work out so well...)
As far as shower time - either during one of LO's naps while DS1 is playing or DH & I take turns. Easy peasy. Stick LO in a bouncer or his swing right in front of shower & we're good. I can even shave & do a coconut lime sugar body scrub lol.
Sexy time? If DH stays awake, then its sometime aftet midnight. On weekends. Which is when LO goes down for the night, or in the morning when DS1 is still asleep & LO had his morning feed/play and is down for morning nap. During the week, so far-just dont happen. DH has to be up at 5am so not so good for him. Yano, men & no sleep -_- i get 4-6hrs of sleep a day & im golden so its all good.
