Memorial service

The service went as well as could be expected. A cantor and guitarist did a beautiful job with the music. Such a great job that dd started dancing her Frozen dance during the recessional.

We did wind up making a collage of four pictures at the target photo kiosk. They came out really nice.

My dad even commented that the reception was really nice and that I made the right decision using the room at city hall instead of the old room at church.

We were surprised at how peaceful we felt after the service. We know we have a long and difficult journey ahead and it's no where near over. Thank you so much for the reassurance about the pictures and reception. You ladies have been awesome.

Last night we went to Build-a-bear. Dd made a lamb with a tutu just like the one she likes to wear. Then we made a bear to wear ds' coming home outfit. It's a little big but I'm not going back into Babies R us for a while. A nice end to his memorial service day.
