26 weeks today! Holy shit, we're in double digits now!!! Baby is the size of a head of lettuce this week? I have an appt with the perinatologist tomorrow which will likely include a scan and I can find out how big she really is.
Nothing major to whine or celebrate about. Heartburn was bad yesterday which is still weird for me as I'd never had heartburn before this pregnancy.
I'm in the hunting/gathering stage of nursery set-up. Last week I scored a rocker/recliner lazyboy type chair for $100 from craigslist which I'm ecstatic about. I like the glider we got for DS well enough, but I always wished I had something a wee bit more plush for all the late night feedings. And I didn't want to take the rocker from DS as we still read in it every night. I've bought a lot of clothes for baby girl that are in the top drawers of a dresser right now. Eventually we'll be moving the crib and dresser/changing table from DS's room to the guest room and getting DS a new crib (one that will convert to a toddler bed which is current one will not do), but that might not happen for another month. I did spend some time on Pinterest yesterday looking at Unicorn stuff for decor. The room is already painted purple, so no painting will have to happen to get that room ready
24 weeks and my bug is a cantaloupe!! And we've reached viability!!!
Nothing much to report except some backaches, but nothing too bad.
Nursery is in the hunting-gathering stage for me too. Crib and dresser are put together and I just ordered some wall decals that I'm in love with. Also, for some shelves, we found a local lumber guy who can cut us some quality shelves for super cheap! The one thing I may/may not get is a glider. I found one I want, but the price is holding me back a bit. Still lots of time to go, so maybe I can get it later.
26 weeks and whoa! Last night we had a couple over for dinner and the wife showed me pics of her nephew who was born at 26 weeks and I can't stop thinking about him. Baby girl is that size! It's wild to think about a baby that big who can survive living in my body!
I think I've been feel the best this week of my whole pregnancy, probably because I've been too busy to think about the aches and pains. My biggest vent is that I can't get our darned painter to schedule a day and I AM READY. My celebration this week is that I am up early this morning because I'm throwing a friend a last minute bridal brunch. She is eloping this coming Saturday I'm excited for her and I'm super excited for brunch at a local restaurant!
I am starting to feel way stressed and behind on the nursery. We aren't buying the crib til the nursery is painted and we need to buy DH a new dresser because we'll be putting his in the nursery but he is having a difficult time finding one he likes. I feel like I have baby things all over the house because I can't store them in one place yet and I'm going bonkers over it. Plus I'm starting to hate the fact that you can't buy everything til post shower and showers aren't until 4-6 weeks pre-baby. Who the F!@# made that rule! I feel so unprepared. We have a toy box and a changing table and already more clothes than one Little Girl can wear in a lifetime. But I'm also super excited about the nursery plan which is blue damask and white bunnies and happens to be William Sonoma's easter theme this year as I found out while shopping yesterday! I'm trying to keep myself busy with some sewing projects. I plan to sew some changing pad covers and at least one of the crib sheets to match the theme.
25 weeks, LO is a cauliflower. My biggest vent is that I can feel baby pushing up into my lungs, making it harder to breathe and generally uncomfortable. Otherwise everything else is great! We're still cleaning out DS1's things from the nursery to put in his new room. Not much else is done, though.
No real vents/rants...she's quite a mover, and DH has been able to feel her, finally! He's also been so cute, buying her little wee baby clothes whenever he has some spare scratch
Nursery is pretty much ready...all the furniture in and assembled, clothes slowly filling her dresser, and even some baby books that we've picked up here and there. Now, only like 4 more months to wait till we actually make use of it. It's made a good spare bedroom for when DH is snoring, and he says he loves the decor, so there's that!
I have a appointment tomorrow to follow up on the strep and ear infection I have been battling and to schedual a rescan to check on my low lying placenta.
My vent is that being sick and pregnant at the same time sucks!!!! All of the good drugs are off limits.
Celebration is that DS's big boy room is pretty much done so now we can get busy on transforming the nursery into a more feminine space for baby girl. We have all I the the big stuff. Including an antique desk we are refinishing for a changing table and a shelf we are painting to match. If the weather would just be nice on a weekend I could get a lot done quickly!
QOTW: Still getting things together for the nursery. I know how I want it to look, but still have a few things to get and then have to motivate my husband to build the crib and whatnot and paint the walls! So....probably wont be done till September?

Happy Sunday! I'm 23 weeks today and little girl is a grapefruit.
My only vent is ridiculous acid reflux. I've always had acid reflux, but it's really strange now. It's so bad it's made me lose my voice a couple times. I have a checkup tomorrow so I'll grill the doc about it I don't think my current meds are strong enough.
We've been cleaning out the future nursery and I have it alllll planned out in my head...nothing to show for it yet unless you count Pinterest! DH surprised me with adorable posters with jungle animals on them Once we pick out a bedspread for the crib, we'll pick a paint color and get moving on things. My dad and uncle have already volunteered to come paint for us! We basically know exactly what we want/need, we just need to find a free day (yeah right!) to go pick it all out!

22 Weeks, Gavin is the size of a papaya. I can tell he's grown in just a week because his kicks are so much stronger. DH can't feel yet, but I bet in a week or so he will. I really love being pregnant, sans the wine cravings. :-)
We had an AS on the 19th, and he didn't cooperate, so we have to go back in a few weeks. All looked good so far, but they couldn't complete at least half of it.
My sister is living with us until August, so no nursery to speak of. We do have a nice corner in our room set up. The changing table, monitor, diaper bag, diaper organizer, burp cloths, and all the clothes he'll need for the first six months are set up and organized. Still waiting for my glider, it takes six weeks to complete from Buy Buy Baby. And we need a bassinet.
I will start on the nursery when my sister moves out, but we've gathered quite a bit.
I am a bit late but this week is 23 weeks and she is the size of a grapefruit!
I have to go back for another A/S today to get the rest of the measurements because she wasn't cooperative last time. She should be much bigger since we saw her almost 4 weeks ago! I am very excited
The nursery is still a work in progress. We are trying to finish the basement so we can get the office moved downstairs and then we can finish her room. Looks like we may be a few more weeks since we are still waiting for the snow to melt!
Week 24 and ladybug is a cantaloupe .
I have a appointment tomorrow to follow up on the strep and ear infection I have been battling and to schedual a rescan to check on my low lying placenta.

DD's big girl room is pretty much finished, except DH needs to move her furniture from her nursery down the hall into the new room. We are a bit ahead of schedule on this so I am super excited! The quilt from Etsy won't be here for another 2-3 weeks so we'll use all of her old nursery bedding in the meantime.
Also, I think we finally found a crib for LO's nursery - it is an HGTV crib that DH just loves because of how "not baby-like" it looks. I love the fact that the crib can be converted to 2 twin beds in addition to a daybed. There will be one twin headboard for each child when they are older! Double score is my MIL said that they would pay for the crib so I just need to get the dresser ordered...and the room painted.
24 weeks another canteloupe! Baby boy/girl is getting stronger with the kicks and jabs but otherwise I don't have any significant updates to report.
We are still planning the nursery but are about to start buying some of the items on our list. This will be our second team green nursery and let me just say its the hardest part about not finding out the sex of the baby beforehand! Here is what we are planning so far:
The actual rocking chair is similar to the one above; it was the same one my mom used with me and my siblings. I still need a rug, table lamp for the dresser, and to pick out bedding and a changing pad cover (will go on top of the dresser along with a pretty tray to hold the essentials). I already had the dresser so I'm just going to make it work as a changing table. Any thoughts on rug color would be appreciated!

Not vents or celebrations that I can think of.
I'm in the gathering stage. I have a changing table, activity gym, and mobile for a crib. I'm also getting a toy box later this week. It's slow going!
Hope you ladies have a great week!
