T&P for strength request....

This evening we had to put down our beloved puggy pug Ichigo. He was our first born. Before the wedding before the house.... before DS. My DH got him for me for Valentines Day 2005. I am just a mess. It was the most hardest decisions we had to make. He got a herniated disk and was paralyzed from waist down very suddenly which makes it even more difficult. We came home from a birthday party and his hind legs were not working. It was difficult to see. We took him straight to the ER. Thankfully my parents had DS for cousins night over night. With already having baby blues and then throw this in the mix I am just exhausted and anxious. It has been a very very rough and tiring year so far. I hope and pray that it starts to look up. Please pray for strength for me. I know DS will be asking about him when he comes home and also for our other pug Shinobu who is very alert and I can tell he is anxious. I am just a mess....

I am so sorry for your loss. I fully understand what you're going though. MH and I got out first dog in 2002 and like you it was before our house, before our wedding and before kids. He died unexpectedly two years ago and I still think about him every single day. I know how rough the coming days will be for you but it will get better. It took so long before I could even say his name without crying but now MH and I can talk about him and it just brings back happy memories. Big hugs to you and I hope you find strength while your mourn your loss.

Oh god. I am so so sorry. I'm crying for your little guy. It is one of the hardest decisions we ever have to make but you just have to tell yourself that you made the best choice for him to end his suffering. You and your fam are in my thoughts. I know how you feel

before Christmas we had to put down our beloved dog as well. She was having lots of seizures and her muscles were giving up. It tore my heart knowing LO was never going to meet her. We though she would have a good 2-3years left. My father even said when he was driving to the vet, the song by Christina Aguilera played "say something" played. We can't listen to it anymore. T&Ps defiantly coming your way!
