Short story:
Brooklyn Anne Hutchison born today at 2:08 weighing 7lbs 13oz and is 20 inches long.
Long story:
Went in at 6:00 for an induction at 6:00 due to fetal arrhythmia. Doctor checked me and I was at a 3. Started pitocin at around 7.
My husband has not been feeling very good the last couple of days and decided to run to the doctor to get some medicine. Turns out what we thought was just a sore throat was the flu! We were devastated thinking he wouldn't be able to come to the hospital, but they let him come fort the birth if he wore a mask.
My contractions picked up, and I asked for the epidural. Good thing because I went from a 4-8 in about 2 hours!
At around 1 I was ready to start pushing, and by 2:08 she was here after a pretty easy delivery. She is 7lb 13oz and 20 inches long, and as perfect as can be! We are over the moon!
We are heartbroken that my husband could only stay for a few hours, but he coming back for a little bit tonight, and my mom is going to stay overnight with me instead. Hopefully his fever will break tomorrow!
