Coincidence?

So DS hasn't been eating or drinking almost anything due to a cold that morphed into an ear infection...

And I just noticed that his near permanent case of eczema seems to have dramrically cleared up - maybe it's the Benadryl he was getting for his cold - but he hasn't been on it for awhile - or maybe its the lack of eating? DH and I have always had a sneaking suspicion that the so call eczema may actually be allergy related...

What do you all think? Coincidence?

    I guess when you start up solids again start them up real slow. If it is an allergy you should be able to tell what it's from. Good luck!

    no coincidence.... sounds like allergy to me.  Im sure you already know the common culprits of food allergies but they are dairy, gluten, and soy.

    I don't think I've ever seen it clear up to this degree... But I also didn't think he was exposed to that much diary, gluten, or soy... Unless its in my diet... Hmmm

    Yes, even the mom's diet can affect it...good lluck and hope u figure it out. Eczema is no fun. It took me 15yrs to figure out what mine was.
