If I remember correctly you live near me. I removed ours a while ago. LO was getting too warm. He now just gets bundled up with a sweater & hat and I put a nice warm blanket over him and tuck it in around him on our walks.

I've removed it a few times and put it back based on the fluctuation of temps we've had here. This weekend was pretty mild (50-upper 60's) so I took it off and didn't put it back on. It got really cold again, but I've been putting on her sweater and covering with a blanket for our short trips to/from daycare. I probably won't put it back on since *fingers crossed* spring temps should be here soon!
Still using it here thanks to the snow that never ends . Ours just goes over the seat also. (I don't normally use a blanket like in the picture but we were on a walk to calm her down and it was cold so she was bundled up well).
I took it out a couple times when it was really nice out only to have to put it back the next day. Lately, I've been leaving it on unzippered so she gets some ventilation. I'll probably take it out in the next few days and go back to a blanket when it's chilly like we did before it got cold enough to use the sleeping bag type one.
It's still in the teens when we leave in the morning, so ours is still on. I don't always add the receiving blanket around her legs anymore though. And I'm both happy & sad to say I think we are done with the pink bear suit.
When it's sunny outside I take it off because the car gets hot. If it's rainy or windy I put it back on. I take it day by day. I also leave it I unzippered sometimes.
In in jersey and still have mine on. We just had more snow yesterday. Hopefully in the next week because DS does get really hot in there.
This, except we're in MI. It's super windy here lately and today it's raining/snowing/sleet/hail.. Blah blah nastiness! He gets so warm but it's so cold out. I'm hoping by May I can stop using it! (Half joking. But seriously, Mi weather sucks!)
I would still be using it because it is still cold, but it makes DS mad because he can't stretch out and kick his legs with it on so we have just been using a blanket.
I'm in Ontario and I removed our cover a few weeks ago. He was just getting way too sweaty. I just bundle him up in sweater, boots, mitts, hat and a warm blanket over top if it's chilly.
Re: Winter car seat cover users
He's cute
I'm hoping to transition to just a blanket soon
