Turkey Baster?

Hoping to bring a private chuckle to some of you ladies at my expense... I am just recovering from a stress fracture in my lower back. Of course the peak of the pain and debilitation was right during my FW. I joked with DH about not letting another month go by, even if we have to use a turkey baster. Well, (here comes the TMI), we managed to BD (and by BD I mean me lay over the edge of the bed and let him do his business without jarring me- oh yeah, so much fun!). While it was pretty horrible, we had an incredible laugh afterwards, thinking what a story it would be if we actually conceived this cycle. Hey, at least we tried!

Now the funny part is, a few days later I actually googled turkey baster and found this!

DH and I started cracking up. Even though we didn't do it, I will always remember this as the "turkey baster cycle"!

Hope this doesn't offend anyone, just thought it would be a funny story to share!

haha! I hurt my knee pretty bad in the fall and that made baby making a little challenging for a few months, so I can appreciate the awkwardness of that situation!

  • This may be a silly question, but in all seriousness, why would a couple do this?

When our toilet started leaking and I had to remove it, I needed a way to get all the water out of the tank after I had flushed as much out as I could. Turkey baster to the rescue! After finishing the repair I had set the turkey baster on the window ledge thinking I would either sanitize it our throw it out later. (It was tank water, so not too gross) well I forgot about it and then my sister and her husband came to visit.... First thing the noticed was the turkey baster in the bathroom and wanted to know what the hell we were basting in there...
@amandaleebest this is absolutely hilarious, but I wanted to add I am quite impressed you removed your own leaking toilet!  :)

Lol. Thanks! My DH is worthless at home improvement, so one of us had to learn
