Well, it's official...

DH and I are moving to MD in August.

Very mixed feelings but ultimately it will be the best thing for our family. We will be super close to family and it's DH's dream job.

We are in the process of telling our close friends about it and it's hard. We aren't announcing it on Facebook because DH hasn't told his work yet as it's 4 months away... So yeah this will be an interesting summer!

I'm not looking forward to house hunting as it's so much more expensive to live in that area.

Anyway, just wanted to share as I had mentioned it before!

Tl,dr: we are moving to Maryland in August for DH's dream job. It's great but will also be hard.

@stephyfaith - whew... 4 hours is a lot, but for some reason I thought you were out west. Hopefully the move won't be too difficult for you.

@EagleWife‌ thanks! Yeah it's far enough that I won't be visiting all that often but it's not too bad. I used to live out in CA and CO and the move from there out east was definitely a lot harder. Now we have a ton of baby crap

so this should be interesting. I'm just glad I'm not going to be 8 months pregnant like I was when we moved into our current home last year!
