Omagah BOOTS, if you don't want to read yet another post about rice cereal then don't open it!!! Jesus everyone, stop trying to dictate what other people post about.
I've used the coffee grinder to do this with grains. For oats, a food processor works fine.
Good to know! I would tihnk they would get enough nutrients with it since you still mix it with formula/breast milk. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here ...
Especially formula (as far as the iron goes anyway) I would think, although it's not a huge amount.
Right ... and Alex is 100% FF now, and has been for a while since she decided to stop latching, I then tried EPing, but dried up. It's been like almost 2 months now I think. So calories wise, it'd just help keeping her full. Cause she eats a lot, just super frequently during the day. She pretty much refuses to each more than 4oz at once and then is hungry anywhere from 1.5-3 hours later. Nighttime she does well though. So I guess its an okay trade off. Obviously, before I do anything I'll talk to our pedi at the 4 month appointment. I know she's had weight gain issues in the past, so he might have us start her on it anyway, depending on her growth.
