3rd Trimester

Jamie4Duke

Why don't you just chill out a little bit and let the baby come when it wants?!  For over a week, numerous posts about thinking you're in labor, wanting to be in labor, breaking your water, having sex... etc.  RELAX!!  There are women on here who are past due who are more chill than you about letting things happen naturally. I don't even open your posts and I find it exhausting reading all your titles... really, relax.  Maybe if you don't think about it so much - then your baby will come (three weeks early!)  : )  Good luck!

  • SERIOUSLY! You post a ton of redundant stuff....it's old. Sometimes I wonder who the hell is taking care of the kid that you have now - you are on here so damn much.
  • Please... really!  I could not be MORE EXCITED to meet my baby - like more than anything in the world!!!!! And I'm sure I'll try to start stuff too when its time...   BUT... there is a time!  It's just absurd to be RIGHT ON TOP of things and overthinking it all just to meet the baby.  Thats all I'm saying... thats all im saying!
  • LOL - if you think she's bad, I'd hate to see what you thought of Mrs. Nolan.  I haven't really found Jamie to be annoying about it at all.

Hmm...I've got a husband that she plays with and she goes to bed between 7 and 8 at night.

If it is so redundant...don't read it.  Get over it.

LOL at Mrs. Nolan...I forgot...what did she have??  It's hard to remember everyone on here...they all disappear so fast at the end.

Hmm let's see my day consisted of getting up around 7:30 (yes she slept in about half an hour), getting her dressed, fed, we played with her new toys, I helped DH (well I supervised) make a dip for his family's Christmas party...then around 10:45 DH took a shower to get ready, I then got ready, we left around 12:30 to go to his grandma's house.  Oh whoops we stopped at the store quick to grab some more milk cuz we were out.  And we were at his family's house til about 4:30ish.  Got home around 5.  I logged on for a few minutes.  I usually leave the site up while I am doing stuff around the house or playing, so it says I am on, but I am really not even around.  Just easier that way really.  I made supper, we ate (well I didn't so much since I wasn't all that hungry).  DH and DD read some books together, while I was online for a few moments, then I helped DD put away her toys and she picked out her PJ's for the evening.  We (all 3 of us) went upstairs where DD and I showered (her new thing to do lately).  Then DH got her dressed while I got my PJ's on for the evening.  We all went to her room and sang songs and played a bit with her new elmo live (LOUD btw).  We gave her hugs and kisses...and again...and again....and by then it was about 7, 7:15 or so.  I brought all of our laundry downstairs and threw a load of darks in, and then came upstairs.  I sat down for a few minutes and posted a couple of things, and then I went to the kitchen and bisselled my floor and loaded the dishwasher.  Came back to the computer and posted.  Then we had relations.  Then I got back on.  So...yes I had a productive day. At this point in my pregnancy I am no longer an energizer bunny so I have to stop and take a break here and there.  During my breaks, I like to get on and see what is going on with my nestie friends and maybe post a few things about what is going on in MY life and what I am excited about.

And for that matter, I am HOME with my DD every single day.  I am a SAHM/working mom as I do daycare and since DH does not work from home, the days that he has off, he enjoys spending time with DD and I like to give them their time, because they DESERVE it.  DD loves to be with her daddy and I love to see them together.  Trust me, when this baby is here, that time is going to be cut a little shorter because we will have a newborn to take care of as well.

    So what else ya got?

  • I'll be 37 weeks in two days and it's pretty much all I can think about. And I gotta say, if Jamie feels anything like I do, it's pretty freakin hard to be bombing around doing anything. More power to her for doing all that she's already doing. If her posts annoy you, why don't you just not read them?

Um hello it is SUNDAY.  And I am not on here all day.  Mainly from about 5 pm when all of my kids are gone until maybe 10ish at night, and like I said, I go back and forth between doing stuff in the evening.  I am on during the day when the kids are napping...what else am I supposed to do?  Crazy...

look jamie, just because mrsstink takes 23476 minutes to type one thought, doesn't mean you do.  not everyone is computer/internet savvy.  i can do fifty things all while typing on this site at the SAME TIME.  woo i'm a damn genius.  it takes all 23 seconds to check what new posts there are and reply to any that might interest one.  i am logged on to the site at all times too bc signing on all the time is tiring.

  • I don't think Jamie4Duke's posts are annoying at all.  I think we're only a few days apart for due dates and sympathize with her.  I'm terribly anxious to meet my baby.  It helps the time go by for me if I can get on here, or put things away in the baby's room, or read my new parenting books.  I'm sure you could look at my comments and say that I'm either obsessive with the pregnancy or too eager to have my baby now too.  I would be angry if someone told me to "RELAX" or "chill". I'm excited and don't want to relax or chill, I want to be excited and I can't help but think about it.

And I'm sorry, really sorry, to all the 40+ weekers, that must be hard. I don't want to carry for 42 weeks just because some else did though.

  • Gotta love people we have never seen before complaining.  I know whose posts I won't be very interested in from now on.

Jamie is fine, it is totally understandable to hit even 36 weeks and be anxious and wondering about your symptoms.  It is also perfectly fine to not read posts from posters you don't like.  Try it sometime rather than whine about someone else.
