How far along are you? 27w 5d
How far along are you measuring? Not sure. 2 weeks ago it was 33 weeks, I feel bigger than that.
Team/Type? Mo-di pink
Any updates? Fetal echo was fine, genetic testing not recommended since only one girl has the umbilical cord abnormality. They said if it was chromosomal/genetic it's VERY rare that only one would have it, since they're identical. Awesome news. Otherwise feeling very big and pregnant, and everything that goes along with it. Heartburn, back pain, tired all the time, the whole nine yards. Still wearing my rings though, not much swelling : ) knock on wood....

How far along are you? 11 weeks 2 days

How far along are you measuring? Not sure, though at my appointment last week my OB said my uterus was "huge". Uhh...I guess that's a good thing?

Team/Type? Di/di unknown yet

Any updates? Had a V-scan done last week and got to watch both of them move. It was absolutely incredible! From going to hearing I might not get pregnant without IVF three months ago to being pregnant with twins has been quite a shock!

When is your next appt? April 15

QOTW? "Was this a surprise?" "Do they run in your family?" I'm trying to stay calm, because I know I will hear this ALOT in the next...oh....eighteen years!

How far along are you?   8w6d today

How far along are you measuring? Not sure yet. The MW hasn't measured and the RE still just does ultrasounds to measure the internal stuffs....   I've been trying to poke around and figure out where my ute starts/stops (I used to be able to feel it pretty distinctly) -- but can't tell the difference where it just becomes ab muscle anymore...

Team/Type?   di/di, too early to know the sexes.

Any updates? Not really. I've been sick lately with a bad cold which has overcome any pregnancy symptoms I had.   I'm grateful for that because I don't want to be barfing AND sick, but I do wish for a little bit of physical reassurance they're still growing in there.

When is your next appt? We are in for our 9w u/s tomorrow or Thursday (probably tomorrow, we are both wanting to see them!) - with the RE's office.

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM?
So far I've been SHOCKED at how consistently people ask us if we know the sex of the babies as soon as we tell them we're having twins. It's unreal! These are smart people who have mostly had kids, or have been in close proximity with pregnancies and know it's way too early --- and they acknowledge that, but it's the first thing out of 75% of people's mouths so far.     And I also know that my mom and her husband are hoping for a pair of boys to round out all the women in our family :-@   uhhh... okay.

How far along are you? I am in my 35th week

How far along are you measuring? My OB rarely measures me. However, I don't think I am measuring more than 4-6 weeks ahead of a single pregnancy.

Team/Type? Mono-di pink

Any updates? C-section is scheduled for April 3rd! I can't believe my girls will be here in 9 days. I still have to finish hospital bag, install car seats, and wash lots of clothes! I am only 10 minutes from the hospital and my parents are amazing so I am not worried about getting anything done!

When is your next appt? Tomorrow I have a growth ultraound and a NST. I am anxious to see how big the girls have gotten!

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? I am so sick of people asking me if I am going to return to work full time. And when I tell them yes, they ask how am I going to handle it. I know it is going to be hard working full time with 3 young children, but I make 80% of our household income and carry the benefits. I don't have a choice. I am going to make it work.

Any updates? Still 2 breech boys...but hoping the acupuncture, chiropractic medicine, and whatever else I can do will make them flip....but I just don't think it'll happen. I'm pretty bummed about it.
Nursery is coming together (way later than I wanted) but it's painted, furniture assembled, closet system going in next week. Now I need decor: art, decals, something for the walls. Curtains and sheets ordered, but think those will be a couple more weeks, I hope they come before I deliver.

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? Any day now, right? You don't have much longer? Wow! I hope you're pregnant!. Then when I say it's twins I all of a sudden am glowing and look tiny. WTF.

How far along are you measuring? At my 16 week appt, I was measuring at 20 weeks.

When is your next appt? Cervical length and amniotic fluids check tomorrow. Next full visit is next Wednesday 4/2.

@SandraPB1220, does one of your girls have an SUA? One of mine does, and one of my MFMs freaked me out about the risk of chromosomal abnormalities. She said my predisposing factors made it a lower chance, but she still freaked me out. She didn't mention that since the other didn't have one, the chances were lower. She just told me that if baby with SUA had chromosomal abnormalities that the other also would more than likely have them because of being mono/di. It didn't make sense to me, that's why your most intrigued me!

Any updates? Heartburn stinks, and I have two disco babies as I feel them ALL the time. I have to retake the 3 hour GT test, as I passed it so early, so will be doing that within the next week as my schedule allows.
When is your next appt? April 9th growth scan and April 18th for the OB
QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? Probably "Do twins run in your family?" or "When are you due?" the second one because I know folks think I am close to the end by my looks...so it is kind of funny to say July and have them look so shocked LOL!

How far along are you measuring? I think 33 weeks. I did not really grow in the past two weeks, apparently.

Any updates? Each baby is weighing just over 2 lbs and within a couple days of each other. They were concerned about baby A's small tummy at my last appt, but it is totally normal today, which means it was probably a weird angle before. After being breech for a while, they are both head down right now. I know I should be relieved and grateful, but I am kind of terrified of trying for a vaginal birth and something going wrong, and the idea of a planned c-section was becoming very appealing. I may still go that route.
When is your next appt? I just got back from the OB and MFM an hour or so ago, and I have another one with each in two weeks.
QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? I am just tired of people commenting on my size, normally attached to the question "When are you due again?"

A is still small, but both gained 11 oz so they're not increasing in weight difference. When is your next appt? OB 4/3; MFM growth was yesterday. Pretty much all due date Q's annoy me because then I feel like I have to justify when I'm sooooo big.

I am seeing a new OB next Thursday. He's the chief of OB at the best hospital in town and does all of his own deliveries. I'm hoping he is more in tune with twin pregnancies than my last OB.

I'm sick of people saying they don't know how I will carry twins. I'm on the smaller side I guess at 5'3 and 120 lbs, but I carried DD to 40w3d with zero issues and she was a healthy 7 lb 3 oz. I'm not a wuss!

Any updates? The boys both flipped to breech and I am hoping they turn. Baby A was head down the whole time until 28 weeks basically. They are making it a little hard to breathe sometimes. My NP wanted me to work part-time but I am not ready so she is letting me go two more weeks and see the doctor to see what he says. I have had zero complications and I am mostly at a desk.

How far along are you measuring? Don't know. I was measuring 24 weeks at 21 weeks.

Any updates? Both boys have been measuring the same the whole pregnancy and were 1 lb 5 oz at my mom appt last Friday

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? Definitely the "Which side of the family do they run in?" question. I also get a lot of comments I don't appreciate about them being both boys since we already have a boy.

How far along are you measuring? 47w, and boy do I feel it!

Team/Type? Team Green with di/di. =D

Any updates? Lab lost my glucose test so I have to take the three hour again. I already took it twice, so not at all happy about that. Boo!

When is your next appt? I just had one today, and next week I start weekly NSTs on Tuesdays, and BPPs on Fridays. EEK!

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? The "Wow, you are gonna have your hands full" and "better you than me" comments annoy me. I get it, 4 kids so close together is a lot, but if I didn't want it, I wouldn't have done it! No one needs to point out it's going to be a lot of work or that they wouldn't ever choose it themselves. =P

Updates? Found out at anatomy scan that baby A has an anterior placenta. I've been feeling B since 15 weeks and just this week started feeling A sporadically.
Next appt? Apr 4. Going to try and get a few views they missed at last u/s. Anxious to see babies' sizes. OB commented they were small (7/8 oz at 18w), but was quick to say measurements can be off and she wasn't worried yet.

Type/team? Di-Di and green (although obvs also too early to know)
Updates? We had our 9w ultrasound today. @Manada checked in yesterday but now that we had the appointment, I wanted to check in. Both twins were doing great and we got to see them move for the first time. Twin A measures 8w6d and had a heartbeat of 182. Twin B measures 8w5d and had a heartbeat of 180. I'm so excited to know they're doing well. And I took some video of the ultrasound images and am glad we have that.
Next appointment? In 2weeks (at 11w) with the RE.
QOTW: I'm not annoyed by it (yet) but I find it silly when people try to guess the sexes and seem really invested in being right. They're fraternal twins so folks who guess girl-boy have a 50% chance of being right. Folks who go the boy-boy or girl-girl route have a 25% chance so at least I find their confidence there a little more impressive than the folks with the 50-50 chance.

I had an appt with my MFM and was told that my cervix is at 3.0 long and closed. That is a relief because it seemed like I was going to be put on moderate bed rest a few weeks ago. Both babies are growing right on track. Baby A is 2lbs 14oz - head down / Baby B is 2lbs 15 oz - transverse with head on the right side.

Wow, look at all the updates!

31.5 weeks

I have been measuring 7-9 weeks ahead

Can't sleep anymore bc my ribs hurt so bad! Getting more uncomfortable. Feeling like they are going to be here very soon so trying to get everything prepared.

Next appt is Friday with MFM for growth scan. Looking forward to seeing how much they have grown. Then I start twice weekly NSTs next week.

I'm a little tired of "wow, you're going to have your hands full!" No shit...

@Rannndi, my Baby A actually has the opposite of a SUA. She has what is called Persistent Right Umbilical Vein (PRUV). Instead of one vein and two arteries, she has two of each. From what I've learned so far, when babies are conceived, they have two veins and two arteries, and around 4-7 weeks, the Right umbilical vein disappears, but Baby A's didn't. The Dr. who told us about it said by itself it's usually not a huge deal, but it can indicate that other abnormalities are present, mostly heart and chromosomal. So we had the echo for both girls, and then had genetic counseling. The genetics dr. said that since they are identical twins (and thus, share the exact same DNA) the chances of one having a chromosomal defect and not the other is extremely rare. Also, since they're twins and we've had ultrasounds every 2 weeks since 18 weeks, we more than likely would have seen any abnormalities by now. All good news : ) Good luck with your girls!

So glad you're getting all good news!

We have weekly ultrasounds and nothing has been caught yet, but I'm only 19 weeks! They said their best chances of catching anything will be at the 20 week full appointment. We're getting echos too, just not sure when! Thank you for explaining that! I would think that the genetic information would apply to the SUA as well. I guess we'll see soon!

Hey ladies! This is the first time I've participated! Hope you'll have me.

How far along are you? 23w1d

How far along are you measuring? Not 100% sure, but maybe around 27-28 weeks. My clothes are fitting me like at the end of my pregnancy with DD though!

Team/Type? Team Purple (boy/girl), di/di of course

Any updates? Things are going well overall. Made it past my loss milestone (lost my first set of twins @ 22w3d) so I've been feeling better. Also, had some super light spotting when I wiped the other day; saw my OB though and things are still perfect thankfully! No blood or bleeding anywhere. Still having tons of pressure on my vaginal area b/c Baby A is all comfy down there, which has been really difficult.

When is your next appt? Not seeing my OB until April 8th. Going to be seeing her every 2 weeks now due to my taking insulin, which is nice though!

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? Hmm, haven't heard too much yet, but people always say, oh there must be twins in your family (since it's our second set technically). My mom's a frat. twin, but still, gets old after awhile... Oh and how we'll be super busy after. Duh! That's why we got the nanny! lol

Any updates? Had the first MFM appt and found out we'll become good buddies starting in a few weeks- appts every other week starting at 16 weeks until delivery are planned but he says everything looks great so far

When is your next appt? About 3 weeks with the OB

QOTW- What is the ONE question/statement you are SOOO sick of hearing as a MoM? Not too bad yet but as people outside the family are starting to find out they all want to know if we had fertility treatments. Honestly, if you have to ask then you don't know me well enough to talk about it and it doesn't matter anyway because they're mo-di.
