24 hour urine for BP....anyone else?

I'm getting ready to drop my urine of and I'm nervous!! I had protein in my urine on Tuesday and at nearly 33 weeks could go on bed rest..... Anyone else do this and what was your outcome?

My bp has been wonky at the doctor office but has been great at home. I track it daily for them. No protein for me but I'll probably end up with a big orange pee jug soon enough.

My blood pressure was high Tuesday at the regular drs appt, they sent me to the hospital and I spent 2 hours getting checked out, was luckily sent home but I'm out of work and on bed rest. Totally unexpected, my BP has always been wonky but I was in no way expecting bed rest at 33 weeks! Good luck I hope everything works out!

Just had my 32 week appointment and my blood pressure is high again (had pre-e last pregnancy at the 37 weeks).

I am now tracking my BP 2x a day and will pee in a jug next week.

I'm nervous.

I had PIH then Pre-E last pregnancy and got to do two of those fun orange jugs. Luckily, my BP is looking good so far.

I had high BP with my last and did the 24hr collection twice. Both times it was negative for pre-e, but it was close. They still put me on a modified bed rest and I had to track my BP at home. Hoping this time around to avoid all that, but since BP was high at my appointment yesterday I'm not holding my breath.

My BP was high the whole time w my daughter and then I was induced at 37.5 weeks. Luckily my BP w this baby has been pretty darn good 124/78 typically Tuesday it went to 134/78 and dr was not concerned. Then he got the results that protein was jn my urine.

I happily got the results that my 24 hour came back normal and was told to take it easy.

Am I going to constantly be facing the inevitable of bed rest this early and potential induce in a few more weeks? I'm 32+5 weeks.

Try not to worry. It's all for the baby, right? I have been on bedrest for pre-e since 29 weeks, even though my bp and protein have improved. It's frustrating because I feel fine, but I have to remember bed rest has got to be the reason why I'm feeling better. At 32 weeks now, will induce at 37. Yeah it sucks to have to stop working, but I respect how conservative my doctors are and how they wouldn't dare put my life in danger even if I am testing better. If you are on bedrest, at least you will get lots of feedback on the health of your baby (tons more non stress tests and ultrasounds), which has been so reassuring.

I love my dr and he's so awesome and always takes good care of me. I'm suh a busy body and not sure what i would do w myself if I could only just sit there....

I came home from work today and noticed my legs/ankles were super swollen today and since I was extra exhausted decided to take my Bp ... It was 170/110! Took it a couple times and was roughly the same. It's been 110/70 the whole time

. Called my dr and said to go into l&d to get it checked out. I had pre-e my last pregnancy but didn't happen until 40 weeks. I'm only 34 weeks now .... I'll get the 24 urine test this weekend and get to be on modified bed rest for the next few days....we'll see how things go.....

I did a baseline earlier in pregnancy...like 12 weeks. Normal. Did several in my last pregnancy with pree. Not normal. Was put on bedrest. I really hate them because I hate dumping the pee in the middle of the night with my jug being in the fridge downstairs.

I just had to go in to L&D last night to get checked. My bp was a little high last appointment but went down a bit before I left so my OB said to check it if I was ever in a store with a tester. I happened to see one at the grocery store yesterday so I checked it. It was high then and again 15 inutes later. The on call nurse told me to go in but I checked it one more time just to see and it was still high. So I go in, they test my urine and monitor me for about 2 hours. BP was fine the whole time I was there. Luckily they did not find any protiens in my urine and I have not had to do a 24hr test but I am a bit worried about it heading that way. I hope it works out or all you other ladies!!

With DS, I did the 24 Hr after being admitted to the hospital at 36w1d for BP. I began induction at 36w3d. I would've been on bed rest if the 24 hr was less than borderline.
