let's talk last night's Grey's! (spoilers included)

At first I was so confused but then realized it was a "what if" type of episode. I was so sad about the guy and his wife with turning off the vent. I can't imagine suddenly being put in that position. And also how sad was Christina as a mom? She wouldn't pick up that crying baby and I was so sad for her. .. no one should be forced into motherhood.

What did you all think?

I was tired when I watched it and felt too much was going on. I was definitely sad about the couple but it was masked by my inability to keep up with what was happening even though I knew it was basically just what if story lines.

It was a filler episode which I didn't like. I cried when the couple decided to turn off the vent because I couldn't imagine being in that situation.

I don't think Christina should have kids. She had dreams for herself. In previous episodes she talks about being 9 years old and deciding to be a surgeon. She's worked her whole life to get where she is. It'd be different if she wanted kids, but she doesn't. I like Owen but he pisses me off. He's a habitual cheater. He cheated on Christina first then he cheated on Emma with Christina. It makes you wonder if that's ever going to change?

I was so confused! Mh kept complaining about not knowing what was going on. I used to like Owen. Now I am just meh.
@emmanemm didn't he not tell his first wife (fiance?)that he was back from overseas when he first started? He wants commitment but is totally afraid of it.

Yes, he didn't tell his first fiance he was back until she found him at the hospital by accident. I go back and forth weather I like Owen or not. He needs to shit or get off the pot.

I thought I was just confused because I was so tired and dealing with my stupid phone. I didn't like it during it - felt like a filler and was confusing, but as I told DH, I think they were trying to wrap Christina's story. I think showing the alternate futures were to show why she "cant" end up with Owen (for the pairs fans) and why she will end up leaving. Hopefully I am making sense.

Its the new ER. Just keeps going and getting new doctors. I just don't know what it will be like with Cristina gone. All the best people are slowly leaving.
