I got mine yesterday and it wasn't horrible. However today I have a low-grade fever. I'm not sure if it is related to the IUD or if it's remnants of my other stupid health issues. Anyone have fever after an IUD insertion?

Pamphlet and Dr. Google say "fever and chills" are side effect of uterine infection but some sites say that you should only call if fever is over 100.5. Mine is around 99.8 so I'm not sure if I should call.

    Fever is up to 102. Doctor has been paged. LO is screaming his head off. DH is an hour away. I want to fucking cry.

    Thanks, y'all. Dr doesn't suspect infection bc I don't have any pelvic pain. They said just to monitor it and if it stays high or I start hurting to go to the ER. I'm not feeling ill otherwise so no clue what's going on.

    No fever or complications from my Paragard, and I've had it twice.

    I sweated the fever out all night long and today fever is gone, thank GOD. DH took the baby after he got home and let me go to bed so lots of sleep helped. Fingers crossed it was some weird virus or something....
