So remember my DS and the un hatched egg at school?

Backstory - DS' K class had an incubator that hatched baby chicks. One egg didn't open and the K teachers sent a note home asking the parents if it would be ok to open the egg to see what stage of development it was at when it died
I guess all the parents were okay with opening the egg, because they did it this week. DS never mentioned it, I ended up asking him about it. He said they opened it and the chick was there, but he never opened his eyes and he "just died". Nothing dramatic, very matter of fact. I asked him if any kids were upset and he said no, and that they buried him
He was much more concerned about me dying from drinking diet coke. Apparently his friend Jack said that he knew an old man who drank diet coke and died. Because diet has "die" in it.
