PSA: Free Target Gift Card

I looked back and did not see anything on this, but I apologize if this has already been brought up.

If you create a new baby registry with Target, you will get a free $20 gift card in return. I registered today and the employee told me that this was correct. My best friend also did this and received a card in the mail about a week later. Supposedly this is legit, but I can't completely vouch for it yet. I did, however, get a nice bag of freebies when I registered.

I'm not sure. I'm just hoping it actually works.

I would upload the picture my friend sent me of the promotion, but mobile won't let me upload photos anymore.

Yeah I registered online about a month ago.. Still no gift card. I remember reading something about if you go in the store and register they give you a free bag of goodies though! That was on there site. Either way I'm gonna go probably next weekend just to see things in person.

Same with buybuy baby, you have to physically go into the store to get the bag.

You can stop by the registry counter and tell them you started one online and they'll give you a bag at BRU and target... I don't have a buy buy baby so I can't vouch for them

@gwennie357‌ - awesome! Was this recent that you did the Kohl's thing? And did they mail the gift card to you or give it to you in store? I need details, please!

I don't have a credit card or anything so I'm not a special customer in any way... but I do love getting free stuff too!

I remember hearing something about this a little while back. I created a registry and never got the email. If I did, I skipped over it. But I went back to find it and never could. Bummer!

I received a flier in the mail about a month ago in regards to this promotion. There was a card included to take in. I haven't done it yet (and have no need to register) but just might to take advantage of the $20 gift card and completion discount.

I didn't know about this promotion, but made a registry for the completion coupon Thursday, we shall see if I get a gift card too!

I registered with them two years ago when we had our first daughter. I received the gift card and a book with coupons.

We got a registry packet in the mail from Target about two months ago. I have no idea how they knew we were pregnant and it kinda freaked me out but on the back had the gift card. Once we went to the store and registered they loaded the GC w/ $20. We walked out spending $15 on top of it, lol.

My experience was actually the same as @bewilderingstar I received something in the mail that had the gift card on the back, made a registry, then went in and they loaded the card with money. I was a goof though and forgot to get the freebie bag that was supposed to come from doing the registry, mainly because I was frustrated their printer wasn't working and I was just concerned about the $20 at that point. What sort of things come in the bag?

So I got the card in the mail as well. Like many others not sure how they know I am pregnant. But grateful.

I have a question.

Can I make the registry online, print it out, and go in the store and get the gift card? Or do I have to do the registry in the store?

Got the book this last weekend. Made a small one online quickly, then went to the store, printed it off, showed it to customer service, and they gave me the gift card. I used it to buy a few small things for LO that day ;-)
