Boo, we have to hold off on bananas because DS got some eczema on his chest from avocado and apparently there is something similar in bananas. I want to see lots of pics though!
Cute idea, we did bananas yesterday, total fail! I smashed it, and kept it whole dd was like WTF are you feeding me, I want sweet potatoes and peas! Can't wait to see the banana pics. We will try again.
We need to have @PixiesDust or another photoshop inclined bumpie to make us some logos to print out to hang above our babies while they nom nanners. It wouldn't be a ceremony without decorations (and streamers, but we can let that slide).
I'll wait on bananas until later October/November babies catch up so we can participate in the fun! DS is 25 weeks, so technically he's hit 6 months even though his "6 month birthday" isn't until April 4.
We've only tried avocado so far. BLW isn't his favorite thing ever, he'd rather bang his toys on the tray.
@jeannie921 DS didn't get the bloody poop, just the eczema, and it doesn't seem to bother him so I wouldn't worry too much. This is a prime example of why you introduce foods one at a time.
Wait if we are waiting until all the babies are 6 months, isn't it still a month away???
Yep, I just thought we could all pick a day and get ready. I'm not sure what reminded me of the banana eating ceremony, but it was to good of an idea to be forgotten.
DS will turn 6 months on April 11th, but we are going out of town so I'm not starting food till we come back. We have our pediatrician appt on the 28th so I expect to start food at the end of the month! I'm in for the festivities!

I'm a lazy mom who feeds Gerber instead of making my own food.
