Today I had my 2 week PP appointment with my midwife, picked up LOs birth certificate, went by my work and turned in the form to add LO to our insurance and also got my short term disability paperwork sent in (finally!). My H stayed with LO for a couple of hrs so I could get stuff done.

DH went back to work this week. I've been taking care of both kids myself. We ventured to the park, the store and ran errands. That said, I'll never go to the store, without DH, again.
Addressed and mailed out birth announcements, send out thank you cards for DS1 birthday gifts & DS2 gifts. Made a bunch of returns at a few stores and picked up DS2 birth certificate. Finished up DS2 baby book, started Ds2 baby book and ordered photos for the baby books and frames.
After the ped visit from hell H and I took Colton for a walk in the sunshine. We went around a couple of blocks, Colton is tired out so we are going to nap now
My mom watched LO for a couple hours wed so I get could a mani , meet DH for lunch and did a diaper / formula run to target . It was like heaven . I've dusted the house , cleaned the hardwood floors daily ( they drive my OCD bonkers daily !) and did laundry . I'm really enjoying being a SAHM , I just wished it was permanent !

I got the dog hair off the hard floors yesterday (a never-ending battle!) and then watched DH's cousins. we had a surprisingly good time. also finally dropped my thank-you cards in the mail.
I put in my contacts, did my makeup, and blowdried my hair for the first time in over 3 weeks. It felt good to look like me again (from the neck up at least)!
I did multiple loads of our laundry, baby laundry, and dog items, did the dishes multiple times, cooked some simple meals, brushed the dog, clipped her nails, and gave her a bath, washed the bathroom floor, and gained weight...ugh!!
I survived my first week alone with LO! No help during the day- only during the evenings. Between my terrible nursing madness, bottle feeding and pumping I survived.
I also have been okayed to stop pumping unless I "want" too! Woot!
I got home from the hospital on Monday an my LO survived our first night! And the few nights since then! I have sucessfully kept a newborn alive for 6 days so far.
Wednesday I took the twins to their GP to get Rhys' cough checked out (he's fine) while my dad watched DS1. Then mom, the twins and I went shopping and I bought myself a new watch and some jeans.
Today I have all 3 kids, emptied and loaded the dishwasher, did a load-and-a-half of laundry. Everyone is dressed and I had a shower. I also put together a HotWheels track DS1 got for his birthday. Now he's down for a nap and the twins are sleeping. Victory for me!
I've survived - Sloan is three weeks and waking every one to two hours and taking half feeds then fussing only to sleep about 30 min so the fact I haven't locked myself in the bathroom is an accomplishment
Re: Accomplishments - weekday edition
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
