  • My dad finally got his truck.on the road and legal. Im so friggin glad! Toting him around everywhere he needed to go was exhausting. Shopping with a toddler is tough, but shopping with a 65 year-old cajun man is torture!

Someday I'm sure I'll be toting my old cajun dad around. They make life more interesting. Lol
Lol, he's just so loud! Good thing is there's a lot of old coonasses around so we blend in ;)

  • This is not really a confession, just adding to the organic discussion. I used to be really strict about Riley eating only organic food/milk, and was even considering bringing her food to daycare since they don't offer organic options. I honestly just gave up worrying about it and a lot of times I just check the menu once a week to see what she is eating - her daycare does a nice job of providing fruits/veggies and whole grains, and I don't have the time or money to spend prepping all her food. Plus, she'd throw a fit if the other kids were eating the same thing and she had something separate!

  • I buy my regular store brand milk at the regular grocery store. Ive never.checked to see if it has added Omega, dha and vitamins.

Ill never ride in my dads truck for a long ride again my boobs have never bounced this much in my lyfe!

  • I used to lurk on my BMB for DS #2, but now it just pisses me off to see all the babies being born and mine is still weeks away. I know I shouldn't wish away the time I have with DS #1 as an only child, but I would give my left arm to fast forward to giving birth.

I only buy organic milk for us and him.  Yup I dont care, its $4 for a 1/2 gallon and I get a 20% discount (thanks H) at Whole Foods, we also dont drink cows milk anymore, only Almond. I could go off on a tangent about how things are made these days vs 20/30 years ago and preserving techniques companies use to save a buck, but I know most dont care so I will shut up now lol. :)

I agree with all this. I thought my sister was a little crazy for going mostly all organic a few years ago but once I started researching it, it really opened my eyes to everything. I've even convinced my H now which was quite the process!
