  I have a pink Jackie O. style coat with bracelet length sleeves that I wear in spring when I need to look ladylike.
  
  I also have a cropped army style canvas jacket that is tailored and cute.
  
  Finally I have a single swing button black coat that DH says looks like a hairdressers cape. But what does he know. :P

  I have a basic black trench that I got from Target that I wear out. I think I need something a little cuter though ;-) If I'm taking DS for a walk or something I just wear a fleece Jacket.

  Have you looked at Barbour? They make some great waterproof jackets that are also good in the chilly weather. DH ADORES his.
