Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

PAIL memorial necklace

It's been almost 4 weeks since we lost our son to spina bifida at 19 weeks. A few days ago I got a card in the mail from my grandmother that I've not even seen in two years with a $50.00 check inside and a note that said "Do something nice for yourself." I want to have something to remember our son by, and I think a personalized memorial necklace is the way to go. Do any of you know a good place online to find one?

Re: PAIL memorial necklace

  • I don't know of anywhere, but I think it's a nice idea. How sweet of your grandmother.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
  • I know Etsy has a lot of nice memorial pieces for a loss, but I don' know if they personalize. There are probably some on the site that do, so that might be worth a look.

  • Etsy was a great idea. I found one that I'm in love with that I'm having my son's birthday and name engraved on. Thanks for the suggestion ladies :)

  • A girl on my '11 BMB has her own shop and has necklaces. If you search on Etsy her ship is Kristine's Keepsakes. I haven't ordered the necklace but have other things she did. Never had any issues and she has a quick turnaround.
  • @Cocoasushi I'm so glad you found something special to honor and remember Link

  • @meganwelch‌ I don't have a necklace but I did buy a charm for my bracelet. I will touch it several times throughout the day. It's like she is always with me.
