What do you use in your DD's hair?It is not very coarse and I'd like to define her natural curls more. She definitely needs added moisture. Do you have a product that you can reccommend? Thanks.
I don't have a baby girl but I have a boy with curly hair and I love Carol's daughters hair milk products for him. I use the hair milk lite in particular.
My DD is mixed. Every night, we co-shampoo DD's hair with Organix coconut milk conditioner, and detangle while the conditioner is in her hair. (DD has eczema and needs a daily bath.)
Afterwards, we put in some jojoba oil and Curls Unleashed leave-in conditioner. In the morning, we refresh her curls by misting with water and working more leave-in conditioner through the hair.
I use a little bit of coconut oil after a bath or to calm down fizziness in between washes. I haven't started buying a separate shampoo and conditioner for her yet. I'm still using the combo baby bodywash/shampoo- babyganics unscented.
We use California Baby shampoo, but only on those occasions when we're washing rice and peas and mushed up food out of her hair. Otherwise, we avoid using shampoo, it dries out the hair. Co-shampooing, or using conditioner as a shampoo, works just as well at getting her hair clean.
