  Anecdote:  My parents friend was involved in a road rage incident in rural Michigan where he was shot in the jaw by the driver of a SUV.  He ended up driving himself to the hospital and the police never found out who shot him.

  
  

  Frankly I don't know what he did to warrant getting shot in the face but it was probably over something stupid like this video.  This is precisely why I tend to not even look at people while driving.

  Not to project, but maybe the guy behind him/her was getting enraged because the driver was dicking around on their phone and not driving well.
  
  It also looks like filmer speeds up to stop the trucker from passing him once the truck is in the right lane, so it looks like the filmer was antagonizing/instigating. I think they are both judge worthy.

  I hate tailgaters but she should get the fuck out of the left lane if she's not passing. She passed one vehicle but for the most part it looked like she was partly instigating. I ran into left lane drivers all the time when I lived in WI.  No matter how fast/slow they were going they always felt like they had a right to the left lane. I despise those people almost as much as tailgaters.
  
  ETA: I revise my statement about her getting out of the left lane -- it looks like they are on a suburban street as opposed to a highway.  In that case, I don't care when people drive in the left lane but I typically get out of the way for tailgaters any way b/c they usually don't give a shit.

  Meh, I don't necessarily agree.  It's not reallly on her or anyone other than the police to police the actual roads.  If some dude wants to drive like that, her priority should be her own safety and I feel like she should just get over and let him pass.  What she did was incredibly dangerous too.  That guy was a fucking dick and should have his license taken away, but she's fucking stupid for engaging with him like that.  What if he had a gun?  Because where I live, that is a distinct possibility. 
  

  I agree with this.  In the video there were trucks in the right lane preventing her from changing lanes but according to her, the guy had been tailgating for a while before she started filming.  I don't fuck around with assholes in trucks…in their world they own the road and I'm just an obstacle.

  He's an asshole. But so was she. Just because he was a bigger ass it doesn't mean she gets off. She was using her phone while driving and while I don't like to say she was "instigating" (it feels too victim blaming), she was not driving defensively.   He's definitely an asshole, but I get the feeling she wasn't going a consistent speed and intentionally fucking with him at the end. If you watch the truck in the right lane, it almost looks like he's passing her and then she passes him easily. Road rage guy is definitely at fault here, but fucking with people that clearly have road rage and video taping while driving is pretty bad in my book.

  I agree she should have let him pass in this situation, but I judge the shit out of people who tailgate on suburban roads where there is only one lane. This happens to me on a daily basis when I am going the speed limit. There isn't a safe place to pull over and Id never make it to work (or anywhere) if I did.
  
  Basically, I think more people should be ticketed for tailgating.

  And driving in the passing lane? The speed limit is not fast enough for that lane. They're both assholes and this is why I hate Florida drivers.
