Well spending lots of quality time together as a family for starters. Taking every moment in as our little boy grows up--because he's growing up WAY too fast. As of right now we're thinking of TTC in fall of 2009. Also, our 5 year anniversary is next September and we'd like to take a trip (maybe a cruise) to celebrate. For a family vacation we'll be going to Myrtle Beach in June with my parents.
We will definitely be ready to TTC in 2009, but just not sure when. DH has a new job and with that is the potential to triple our income. We'll see how it goes. We are vacationing with my family in June at Gulf Shores, AL and in Michigan in August with DH's family. I'd like to take a nice anniversary trip in July and possibly a trip down south to visit my family. Christmas was so fun this year, we want Griffin to grow up knowing all his cousins.
I'll be going back to work part time....probably TTC #2.....enjoying transitions with Niko such as potty training, sleeping in a big boy bed, and maybe even pre-school!
We will TTC again this spring. We have several trips planned for this year, the first is a week in Florida in March. We will see how that one goes and decide how ambitious we will be. I want to go to the Caribbean again soon. We are renovating our home, so that will take up a lot of our time. DS graduates HS in June, and will go to college in August. That will be a huge change.
Well first of all, we are starting the year out with the first of three surgeries on the 8th of January for Max. But the biggest thing in store for us this year will be his kidney transplant! We would love to take a small vacation, but it's not looking like that will happen with all of the medical things that we have to take care of in 2009. 2010 will be a huge vacation year for our family though ) We can't wait.
Well.... baby #3 is coming at the end of May/beginning of June. We're also putting our house on the market early in the year and buying a new place and moving by the end of summer. Other than those things hopefully the rest of the year will be uneventful
Hopefully lots of trips! ....perhaps a cruise with my DH :-) TTC #2 in the fall of 2009, pay off school loans, and maybe renovate our kitchen (which is a long shot, but keeping my fingers crossed!)
Funny you ask this as we are seriously thinking about putting our house on the market. We have a lead on a beautiful house that would need quite a bit of work to make it livable.......which may involve living with my parents for a few months. Yikes! My brother is getting married in Sept. We would love to travel to visit my grandfather in FL as he is getting older and are hoping to go to TX in May for a wedding. Otherwise just enjoying each other and our amazing little guy. (And if we do end up in a bigger house, we may think about TTC #2 the end of the year.)
Nothing too eventful for us, just enjoying Maggie and probably trying for another little Btobe. Maybe some things around the house, new carpet in the basement and a retaining wall in the yard. We probably will replace my husband's 1998 Ford Taurus. :-) I'd like to take Maggie to m. usic class and spend lots of time at the pool this summer
2009 will hopefully bring us another little one (TTC #2 now) and would love to get some debt under control. We are on a HUGE budget starting Jan.1st and I am excited about it! I am ready to be debt free! We have a few years before that will happen totally but anything paid off would be awesome! We want to buy a house in 2010 so that is our goal :-) We will aso take a few small and one big vacations. Wewill also be celebrating DS's 1st birthday on Valentine's Day :-)
Our kids are 19mths apart and we LOVE it!!
Married to my BFF on 8.13.05 (after dating 5 years)!
DH and both want to lose some weight... but isn't that always there?
Also at the top of our list is finishing some renovations on our home. We have some painting projects, along with floors/baseboards/moldings that need to be done. There are also some serious organization projects that I have in mind. And then there are the "little" projects that still need to be done too.
My lease on my car is up, so we'll be shopping in March/April for another vehicle.
TTC#2 sometime during the latter half of the year.
And we think we'll take a beach vacation this summer.
Those are the big things... we hope it's a good year!!!
Lots of changes for us this year. I'm quitting my job next week to stay home with Allie. We're starting the process of having the house licensed as a daycare and hopefully I'll be watching the triplets in the fall. We're hoping to finish the basement at some point to make the in-home care easier.
My brother and sister are both getting married so we'll be heading back to Dallas in May and to Raleigh in August on top of two local weddings this summer. We'll be going to Florida in August for DH's family vacation and hope to take a trip somewhere for our anniversary in Sept. Top that all off with DH wanting to TTC #2 sometime this summer and it looks like we're going to be very busy this year!
Just this baby sometime in the next 8 weeks... Then maternity leave, and I will be cutting back hours at work after I return so I can stay home one or 2 days a week.
Maybe taking our girls to Disney World for the first time.
Paying off all our credit card debt! (We've been working on this since last summer and it will be such a relief to finally have it gone in a few months)
Lily will start pre-school in the fall!

We're looking forward to meeting our baby in July!
We also have a 5 day trip planned to Gatlinburg in February for my birthday. ?I can't wait to spend 5 days alone with Brian with nothing to do! ?
My brother is getting married in the spring so I'll have a new sister in law.
We have our condo on the market so hopefully that will sell and we will most likely be building when it sells since we can't seem to find anything on the market that we like right now. ?
Shifting my schedule a bit so I can work from home two days a week. I'm really excited about that since it will allow me to be home more with the baby.
Possibly remodeling our kitchen and upstairs bathroom. We'd like to do most of the work ourselves so we'll see how that goes and if we actually have time for such an undertaking.
We always spend about a week in Michigan over the summer. I can't wait to have a family vacation with our little one and introduce him or her to all of our family and friends.

Wow - lots of TTC going on in 2009! I can say for sure that's the one thing we won't be doing :-) DH will likely be getting a new job towards the beginning of the year - he's currently interviewing for 2. One would require relocating in 3-6 months which would be exciting, but the other one would mean we'll be staying in Cinci for a while - so it's kind of a fork in the road. If we stay in Cinci I would love to say we'll sell our house and get something bigger but unless the housing market dramatically improves I don't see that happening until probably 2010. I'm keeping my feelers out and may get a new job this year too. We're hoping to take a family vacation this summer, maybe to Florida to visit my Grandma, who's in her 90's and hasn't met the girls. Other than those big things we're just looking forward to watching our girls grow up and celebrating Piper's 2nd birthday in April and Kady's 1st in October.
We don't have a lot of huge plans, mostly just enjoying Ellie and our little family. We're taking a trip to Gatlinburg with my family in the summer, then we're planning to take Ellie to Disney World for the first time next December. We'll see what happens careerwise for DH and I. I can't believe how many people are planning to TTC!
The biggest goal that I am looking forward to in 2009 is finally graduating with my Master's Degree in June!! It has only taken me 5 years, on and off to accomplish! lol. I have worked so hard to finish my Master's while teaching full-time and welcoming Madelyn into our family. So I will be so relieved to NOT have any classes to take next fall when the new school year begins.
Beyond that, DH and I would like to take our first family vacation with Madelyn this summer, maybe to the Carolinas. We are currently working on updating our kitchen with new appliances, and then we are just continuing to focus on paying off debt. We hope to start looking for a new house in the spring of 2010. We won't TTC baby #2 until the summer of 2010, when DD is 2.5 years, because we want to be in a bigger house before then.
GL to all the ladies TTC in '09! There are a lot of you!
I start back to work on Sunday, when I start my new schedule: Friday night 7p-7a and Sunday night 7p-7a (I'm a nurse). I used to work 3-4 day shifts (7a-7p) a week, so this will be totally new and different. I'm excited for the change, though, as this will allow me to stay home all week with Macy.
This spring we hope to finish our basement so we will have more room and a place for all these new toys Macy got for Christmas. We are taking our first family vacation with Macy in the beginning of August to Hilton Head. I've never been there before so I'm excited for that. In September I'm starting back to school at UC for my masters in nurse anesthesia. I'm super excited for that. I will be stopping work completely and just going to school full time. Other than that, no major plans. We are definitely not planning on TTC #2 yet :-P
A baby is the only thing set in stone! DH is already planning on TTC #2 and our little guy isn't even out yet! lol I told him he's out of his mind!! We are getting new carpet which I'm super excited about and I REALLY want to take a trip over the summer but I'm not sure we will be able to this year. I am hoping to be able to stay home with Hunter after he's born but DH and I are still trying to iron out the details on this one! Other than that just taking life one day at a time!??

Look at all this TTC going on! Not in our house this year .
We are hoping to apply for new jobs and relocate after this school year, hopefully to the North Carolina area, which we love. So we need to sell our house first!

DD will start Kindergarten in August and I'm already starting to freak out about it.
I'll probably start student teaching as part of my Master's program at the end of the year.
