We ditched it cold turkey about a month ago when she started sleeping horribly and then rolled over in the suit. We use Halo sleep sacks over footie pjs to keep her warm. It took a few days to adapt, but now she sleeps better than before and can self soothe by switching positions if she wakes up MOTN.
Never used one. We swaddled in the SwaddleMe asks til she rolled and now mainly just use footed pjs. She hadn't slept well since the 4 month regression I-)
It really helped from October to January. Then she just had a horrid night and I ditched it out of desperation. She rolled onto her belly, stuck her butt in the air, and finally slept. I haven't put it back on her since.
We were swaddling both arms (legs out) with a muslin blanket until 3ish weeks ago. We did one arm for a few weeks, and now we are in a sleep sack. We tried to wean a few other times, but he just wasn't ready. Now he can usually move an arm without startling.
Oh I should mention that we still use a sleep sack, but just to keep the blankets on at night or she bunches them up on her body and her feet get cold.
I voted SS. We've been using the Sleep Suit for a few months and he loves it. But the past 2 nights he has not slept in it because he's been really sick. Sleeping on his side seems to be more comfortable for him right now so I've been putting him in a Halo sleep sack so he can flip over.
Now that he's slept two nights without it, I'm not sure if put it back on him. He's waking up a bunch at night, but I'm pretty sure it's only because of his congestion and cough.
