Since I have off today and my lovely animals would not let me sleep in I thought I would send this yearly today.

Let's see those cuties!!!

Bentley my jack Russell we had to take him to the cardiologist yesterday. 2 hrs from home. He has a heart murmur grade 4. He gets rechecked yearly to make sure all ok. Heart murmur is ok but he does have high blood pressure. We did some blood work and vet will let me know what meds to put him on.

My golden also went due to a slight heart murmur but he is ok no worries with him!!! (Golden Retriever)

First fur baby post! We brought home a new family member on Tuesday. Maisey! She is an 8 1/2 week old golden retriever. So far she has been pretty well behaved. Lucky for us, she likes to pee and poop outside. No accidents yet and she whines by the door when she has to go. I'm a little worried having an easy puppy is going to jinx me in having a not so easy baby.

These three fur babies are currently taking up residence in our garage. There's a female shih tzu and 2 mystery breed puppy brothers. These poor dogs were in our backyard and came running towards me whimpering when I went outside to see what my own dogs were barking at. They became my shadows and followed me into our screened in porch. We shaved the shih tzu right away cause she was really matted. Tomorrow we're going to see if we can use our neighbor's out door dog bath and get them all cleaned up and rid of the fleas but for now they're out of the rain and warm and dry in our garage. We will be keeping them until we can find some loving homes for them.

@Merie412 Nope, no tags. The shih tzu had to have been someone's dog at some point, cause she seems well trained, but all her mats tell me that she hasn't had a home in a while. She seems to have sort of taken in the 2 puppy brothers. No idea how old they are or how long they've been roaming but they're also very friendly and well behaved. They all were just so excited to get some human attention.

Oh and I've already named them, much to my husband's dismay. Wendy, Dickon and Rickon. I went literary themed.

Part of me really wishes I could just keep them all but I can't manage 5 dogs (we already have 2), a 2 yr old and a soon to be newborn.

Did you take them to the vet to have them scanned for a microchip? You can put fliers up too at local vets and shelters to see if someone is missing three dogs. If they were all together I bet someone is looking for them to loose 3 dogs at one time how horrible. Would be great if they were microchipped!!!

@Dragonfly711 We took them in this morning. They're not microchipped. I wasn't holding out too much hope though cause just from the severe matting on the shi tzu it seems she has not had an owner in some time. She is very well trained though so I believe she was someone's pet at one time.

I think the puppies are hers too. Probably a mix between her and a terrier (maybe a Jack Russell). I'm guessing she had them sometime after she lost her owner.

UPDATE to my 3 little strays.

We found a no kill shelter that will take the 2 puppies but they are not able to take the adult female shih tzu.

Here's a pic of the puppies. They're so adorable!
