DSLR photography classes?

Has anyone taken an online photography class? I really want to learn how to use my DSLR camera properly, but unfortunately a regular class won't work for my schedule. I am trying to find an online class, and wondering if anyone had any recommendations? Or has anyone found a series of good youtube videos or something similar that would help me get started?

    I watched a guy on YouTube when I was first getting started, his name is Jared Polin (he goes by Froknowsphoto and has a website Froknowsphoto.com). He is a little odd, but he does a really nice job explaining things and makes it pretty easy. He uses a Nikon, but you can still understand the concepts and apply them if you're running a Canon. GL!
