Mommy's Day Off!!

I've never been so happy to have a gynecologist appointment!!

I scheduled my annual last year for 2pm figuring I would take a half day of work - which is what I did last year a lot for my frequent appointments. But this year, it's not like I'm out much so my coworker encouraged me to just take the whole day. DH just left to drop DS at daycare which means I have from now until my appointment for meeeeee!!!!!

I'm off to a great start - I went to bed at 9:30, fell asleep right away and got up at 6:30. That's 9 hours of sleep people!! I think I'll make a second cup of coffee, not because I need it, but because I can! Wooo!

    I'm going to clean a bit as well. And I always like to do a big clean out of my closet and donate to salvation army so I'll probably get that accomplished too!

    That is excellent! It's funny how enjoyable cleaning without a baby/toddler under foot is.

    @DC2London The Ugly Truth. I know it's not a good movie, and Kathryn Heigel isn't my favorite, but for some reason I find him so sexy in it. :P And I'm in the mood for something light and fluffy!

    I like that one!  I mean, I know it's no example of cinematic excellence, but it's cute and fun!
    My favorite Gerry movie is Dear Frankie 
    YES! I love that movie! I just bought it on Amazon instant video!

    But Vero, just take a damn day off. Take a break. Quit making excuses. I know you have a lot going on in your life, but there are many things that you can take control of if you just do it. Things will look so much better if you give yourself a chance to rest and regroup.

    Agreed. I'm all about the internal locus of control. There are some things you can't control, but you choose every day to make the best of the things you can.

    My cousins work at the Kali! One is in security, and one works in their spa. :). Kali is really nice, but I'm partial to the Wilderness. Probably because I worked there for YEARS. Have fun at the water park!

    I am also partial to the Wilderness, but I got a great deal at the Kali. Hoping it's not too crowded.
