Today was my due date.

I haven't been on this board in months but have been dreading this day for the last 7. It is surreal to think I would be birthing my third child. Instead, I am half way through my 2nd semester back in college for nursing. We have decided not to try for another child as we have made other plans now. It took years after my 2nd daughter was born to come to this decision. I will move on never to forget this experience of loss and now have profound respect and sympathy for others who have endured the same pain.
