Are we moving into convertibles already?? I guess I had no idea! How do you know when to switch cuz DD is way under the weight limit still Sorry if this has been discussed before I must've missed it
It's really personal preference. DD only has one more strap level to go before she outgrows her. Plus she's getting so heavy that we only take the whole thing out when she's sleeping. If she's awake, we treat it more like a convertible seat.
We switched DD1 when we were using it like a convertible seat all the time. It was more of a problem then because we used both cars. So it was easier having one in each. Now, we predominantly use mine for everything. So we aren't in as big a rush.
Some people are. I don't think the board as a whole is. Some people are getting them now because of various deals going on. I think we will use our infant carrier a couple more months unless we find a great deal on the seat we want.
DS is on the highest headrest and harness setting and he is almost too tall for his. He is not to 30 inches yet, but has short legs and is long waisted so I think this is why he is so cramped. I am really trying to hold out until it gets warmer though.
We loooove our new seat, bought approx 2 weeks ago. A only had about 1&1/2 inches left to grow with her bucket and it was just getting too heavy. She always tried to sit up farther in it as well. She really likes her new seat, no screaming when we get in the car.
