Question for BFers about AF after a miscarriage

For those of you who are/were breastfeeding when you had a miscarriage/chemical pregnancy.

I got my first PPAF when DS was almost 21 months old and got pregnant that very first cycle. I ended up m/c on 1/30/14 at 5w1d. I counted my first day of bleeding as CD1. Today is CD54 for me with no AF in sight. Took a HPT on Saturday and got a BFN. I'm still BFing DS once a day (before bedtime) and will be done nursing this Sunday when he turns 2!

Just wanted to know when you had your first AF after a m/c or cp? I'm gonna give my OB a call by Monday if there is still no AF...although we're hoping for a BFP!

Also, I don't temp. I just track CM and that has been so out of whack since my m/c.

Thanks ladies! She only recommended we wait a cycle for dating purposes, but said if I got pregnant before my first cycle that would be fine too. I had my betas drawn weekly after the m/c and it was at 3 on 2/20. My cycles when not BFing are around 30-35 days. I'm not really interested in temping. I'll just stick to tracking my CM once my cycle regulates.

I ovulated for the first time when DD1 was still nursing at 18 months, and got pregnant then miscarried. I didn't ovulate again until 50ish days after CD1 and then got pregnant again with DD2.

My first period after my miscarriage was 5 weeks after my cytotec induced miscarrige. I bleed for 4 weeks, had a week off then my period started. I still BF 8 + times per day

Just an update. AF arrived today! I've never been so happy to see her! lol
