AW/SS: M Makes a Movie

Just received an email from M's preschool teacher - she's in a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, where the kids direct their learning, and one of their current projects, as inspired by a recent pajama day at school, is to "make" a TV.  M decided she wanted her class to make a movie for the TV. It's a little out of order and she obviously cut it short, but it's close. I'm glad the Disney Animation Studios intro with Steamboat Willie has left such an impression.

"Frozen as told by M"

It starts with Mickey Mouse. With his butt wiggling. He shakes his butt like this.

Then it starts with the castle with the little kids. When Anna and Elsa were little kids. And then Elsa makes the snow so they can play. Just like outside for real. Just like it snowed for real but for us. And then she builds big snow castles, then Anna’s gonna die. And she needs true love. And then the trolls help Anna and sing Fixer Upper. That’s the song. Let it Go is in there too. And then the first trolls get scared when Beauty turns red. And then Fixer Upper again. And there were two troll parts. That’s on the TV that I watched yesterday. Anna was getting colder. And then she asks Prince Hans of the Southern Islands to bring back summer. And he has a horse. I think Anna says “I think I need to go.” So the party cannot be over."


I have tears on my desk from laughing/crying - I hope you enjoyed.  And if not, please disregard this AW/SS/ABC post :)
