Question about increased feedings

So dd is in daycare from 6am to 3pm 4-5 days a week. I was sending 4-5oz bottles a day. She would only take 3 but I always sent an extra just incase. Well last week she's started taking all 4 bottles in that time period. I feed her at home before we leave the house about 5:30. So at daycare, she's taking the bottles about 2-2 1/2 hrs apart. She was at about 3-4 hrs. I'm not sure if she's just hungry of if they give it to her when she fusses or what? Well they did tell me that when she's fussing they will try othe things then last try the bottle and she takes it all no prob.

She is just on breast milk. No baby food, cereal, oatmeal, etc. and I don't give her a bottle at home, she just takes one at daycare.

Any thoughts on why she is taking so much more this last week? Growth spurt? She was a 10/18 baby so she's little over 5 mos. she's not STTN if that matters. She did at 10 weeks but that all went to shit at about 3 1/2 mos. she eats usually about 2 times at night. thank you in advance for your help!

    We had this happen last week. LO is a week older. I was upset bec daycare ended up feeding him 9 oz in 1 hour. Of course he spit it all up and was more pissed. I think he was just teething and they didn't know how to comfort him. They fed him more bec he was sucking on a paci. Luckily it was a girl who stepped in temp for that day.

    But I have noticed LO eating a little earlier at home than what he was...thinking its growth spurt or teething.

    We were exclusive breast milk until this started happening to lo. He eats all his bottles and wants to nurse all night. I started him on oatmeal with breast milk and veggies once at night and it has helped. I couldn't keep up with milk otherwise.

    I have a 10/18 baby as well and recently noticed that she's been eating a ton. I couldn't figure it out! Maybe it is the 6 month GS early I didn't even think of that. Oh boy, here we go again!

    That's smart! We have been doing a little food at dinner but mostly just for play, maybe I'll increase the amount and start oats.
