Called my OB office and asked them for the basic details of my labor and delivery? I am really having trouble remembering thugs like what time we went in how far dilated I was how long I pushed. I would love to write this stuff down so would it be a major inconvenience to call and ask for this info?

You can get a copy of your reports from your Dr office. Just call them and let them know you want it and they can prepare it for you and you can pick it up at their office.

I thought of this but will I be able to read it or is it all in dr speak and abbreviations?

I honestly don't know, Most reports I have ever gotten were understandable at least. I say when you call them them you want it simplified for non-medical staff to understand and see what they say. Good Luck!

OP, I second calling and asking for the report. They have a legal obligation to give it to you. However, it's very unlikely they will rewrite the whole thing in non-medical terms. Your best bet would probably be to call and ask questions if there are things you don't understand, but you'll probably be able to decipher most of it.
