  We have the 3.5" Motorola and love it.  Have been using it daily for over 2 years and it still works great and has a great picture.  Our battery has just started to not hold a charge very long when unplugged but it's 2 years old so I'm not shocked.  I know you can order a new battery for it.  It still works great when plugged in.
