I've recently been promoted and moved to a new location for my job. New bosses, new co-workers, etc. Unfortunately by the time I'm fully trained in the position, it will be my due date. To top it all of, my boss isn't exactly sensitive to my pregnancy. I might as well have a paper cut! I'm very worried that she will unsupportive of my choice to breastfeed. I'm aware of all the legality and rights when it comes to breast feeding mothers, but has/is anyone in the same boat? How did you handle it? Thanks in advanced!
I work with all males and I know I made a few uncomfortable when I said I was going to pump to provide nutrition for my daughter. I made it known that I would be pumping before I went on maternity leave and a week before I returned I reminded them. The reminding helped bc a space was designated and I was assigned a new supervisor who was then made aware.
