I'm on pre e watch and I don't know if I'm tripping myself out or what but I keep feeling like I see a floater but it's not a dark spot it's a bright light that moves across my eye.

What were your floaters like?

UPDATE:
been at L&D since 6pm last night was admitted because bps were super high and was seeing floaters. Blood work and urine came back fine started a 24 hour urine catch. Bps were very high all night 170/100. Gave me my Bp pills two hours early to bring them down and started iv in hand just in case I needed iv meds. Dr is in with a delivery right now but will come make a plan on what to do when she's done. Bps still 160/106.... 36wks1day.

  • Mine were like glitter or sparks.
  • I get these every once in a while but have never mentioned this to my dr. I will now, but these are a sign on pre-e?

  • I get these floaters all the time, pregnant or not. I've mentioned them to my dr because they are a sign of pre-e but there has been no protein in my urine. So they are not concerned.

  • I too get them regularly. Pregnancy or not. I have no signs at all if preeclampsia. My doctor isn't concerned.

From what I've read, eye floaters aren't a huge deal by themselves- you will see them more as you get older, since your eyes dry out with age. If they appear suddenly with other pre-e symptoms, that's a problem.

ETA: just read your update. Hoping they get your BP controlled and you can keep your baby in for as long as possible!
