Here's the sitch: wedding anniversary is next month and H had the idea for the family to do a Disney week/weekend (Wed-Sat), since both kids get in free and Florida residents get a crazy good deal on a 3-day pass, as long as we get it by June.
Positives: it's friggin Disney, which I love. Bradley would totally enjoy it and knows almost all the Disney stuff we would see. Practically free (we would stay in a hotel with H's points and the kids are free). umm...did I mention Disney?
Negatives: napping. Both kids really need naps still, Ty can prolly get away with napping in the stroller, but Bradley wouldn't be too keen on that. Along the sleep subject, both kids are in bed by 7 (Bradley usually is asleep by 8). That doesn't lend itself to romantic evenings by any means. If this trip is meant to be for us, the kids kind of ruin it. AAAnnnnd Ty is way too young to do anything.
Options: bring the ILs or my mom, which comes with it's own set of positives and negatives, most of which revolve around my irrational ownership of "firsts." I want the boys' first time at Disney to be just us. But, let's be real, this will not be the last time we go to Disney (it's only 2 hrs away). OR just suck it up and have a kid-friendly, family vacation, in which we either deal with a kid that doesn't nap or taking a family nap, mid-day.
TL; DR - WWYD - take an 11 month and a 3 year old to Disney for free, or put it off until they both can enjoy it?
Re: (My Turn!) WWYD
Ok. As always I put my thoughts out and you guys bounce my brain around.
I'm thinking maybe on the third day, Saturday, we invite the grandparents and do a dinner just the two of us. So that way I still get the first, but we can have our "us" time too.
THANK YOU B'S

GO TO DISNEY!!! have fun, post pictures!
jk, I don't go every day.
I wanted to stay one time for fireworks with LO and she eventually fell asleep in the stroller. For sure go to the hotel for naps, but you'd be surprised how easily babies fall asleep at Disney and where!
