I'm so surprised that Texas is listed as Zombie land. With the amount of military/former military, hunters and gun enthusiasts, I would think it would be green. It must be the obesity rate that's bringing it down.

6th place.. according to this I got pretty good chances. Although I think they should factor in extra challenge for states next to red states since I don't think zombies will consider state lines as boundaries, I like the variables they used. Interesting thoughts at least.

7th. And actually I'd believe our chances are pretty good. DH is a little bit of a "prepper" (Not the crazy kind you see on TV) so if zombies/revolution/war/natural disaster were to ever hit our community we'd have a safe place to go and be able to defend ourselves.

I wonder why population wouldn't have anything to do with this list though? I figure the higher the population, the larger the feeding grounds for zombies. I feel like the higher population states would be worse to live in.

In addition, I just learned a fun fact that Washington DC has more citizens than the state of Vermont. Have fun in DC @LokiLahve!

@TrueBeliever925‌ bleh, I can't stand dc & avoid it like the plague. We live about 30 miles outside...so a 1.5 hour drive.
People here freak out at the mention of rain...I can't imagine a zombie attack.
I miss the south.

Nice! I have family north of Iowa City. Where in Colorado are you? We love to visit Colorado and plan to take lots of family vacations there. We went to Steamboat amd Denver last summer.
