    We have, but then I got an annoying letter that I needed written confirmation of my social security number from SSA. So now I'm taking care of that :(

    I voted SS. Our return is pretty complex because of how DH gets paid. So we have a CPA do our taxes. I dropped all the paperwork off, but they haven't completed our return yet. Or told us how much we're gonna owe.  :-S

    I'm a CPA, I try to do them as soon as possible before I get busy with work. Ours aren't that complex, so I did ours and my MIL's in January first thing. My parents' on the other hand... We're getting together this weekend to finish theirs up. They'll probably wait until the 15th though, they're gonna owe a good chunk of change.

    Done. But the stupid HR Block software I use doesn't allow me to enter in an AITN (what you need to use to claim a dependent before finalized adoption) so now I need to mail them in instead of efiling.

    I picked outside of US. But my taxes are done. How are you Canadian momma's getting money back? No matter what I owe $220 because of mat leave. Everyone I have talked to said its almost impossible to get a refund while on mat leave.
    Mh is getting one though! Woohoo!

    We get a refund so I'm not nervous about cutting it too close to the deadline. Anyway we have a complex one and I do it myself. I wait til the last minute because the company that reports our stock trades usually sends an amended report. And I only want to file once so I wait til the final report is made available.

    Sounds like DH and I are slackers on the tax front. We usually do them in early April, so we're starting to get the "crap, we need to get on this" feeling.
