Late Night CPW: Throw Pillows

They are my nemesis. I hate them. Saw a friend's pic on Facebook and she has her bed made up like a fancy hotel. I just can't stand pillows without function.

So what say you on throw pillows (or other decorative pillows)

It's not practical but I have my bed done up like a hotel bed as well. It makes me excited to get into it every night.

Eta: dh hates the throw pillows and makes a point to throwing them across the room at night.

I have a slight addiction to throw pillows. Both our bed and the guest bed are done up like hotel beds. DH hates it.

I think I was German in a past life. Throw pillows just seem so inefficient. They serve no purpose. You take them off when you go to bed and put them back on in the morning. So much extra work!

All 5 kids (including Mr. Vals) love to throw the throw pillows everywhere (I see the irony here) and just leave them wherever.

It doesn't matter how nice they are supposed to look, everything looks like shit on the floor, the dresser, the couch, the kitchen counter, on the front step....

Special snowflake- hate them on my bed, love them on my couch. I would have regular bed pillows on my couch if it weren't tacky, so I have lots of comfy throw pillows.

If I lived alone I would have all the decorative throw pillows. Dh throws them around like poop in a monkey cage.

I dislike them. We have them on our beds bit only because mh likes them. I don't put them on unless company is coming over.
Couch throw pillows? Also annoy me. Mil keeps bringing us her old ones because she is addicted to the stupid things.

Mr. Vals has been keeping his regular pillows from bed on the couch lately so he can be permanently comfortable on the couch. This means that he is less than motivated to get up off the couch some days.

This. I'm not trying to move a bunch of pillows before going to bed. I also never make my bed so they'd probably be on the floor 90% of the time.

This is us. Sham pillows are used when we're reading.

(Every time I use the phrase 'sham pillow' I want to yell, "THIS PILLOW IS A SHAM!! A SHAM!!!")

I don't even like making my bed, you are just going to get back into it. When the bed is made DH is like "Ohhh you changed the linen today." My grandmother would be so ashamed :-)
To my defense I change linen pretty frequently between kids and animals I swear they are dirty before I am actually done making the bed.
