  When @EAGUIRRE2‌, @Rmnam1‌, @queenbone‌ and I were there we didn't see the baby But we saw a mommy orangutan nursing while swinging from tree. We were informed they nurse for about 8 years!

  I used to work for this zoo! It's crazy to see how similar we are to gorillas. Our keepers would just go out to CVS and pick up a HPT in order to test if the gorilla was pregnant. How do you feel about that @stickstickly? 

  
  

  Also, @mom2bois85, you're right about bonobos. They solve all conflicts with sex or when they get really excited. They'll have male on male, female on female, adult on juvenile, it's pretty much all good. Talk about awkward when I'd be giving a tour and walk up on that happening.

  The keepers would keep the female separately from the troop in the bedrooms and just test the urine left behind on the floor. It would make it cooler if they taught them to pee on command.
